Mark Sepia isn't your typical loud-rock-at-night-catching-z's-at-noon teen. He lives in the small town of Forks, Washington. And he has a crush on a girl who goes out with a tall, muscular, and older boy, who happens to be a part of the Quileute tribe. But that's not what makes him different. What makes him different is the powers he recieved three hundred years hace on his sixteenth birthday. When an experiment of powers went wrong, he was forced to be seventeen forever. Now he must try to win the corazón of the beautiful half-vampire of his same age, who goes por the name of Renesmee.
1. New Opportunities
Why should I use poison ivy for that potion? All it does is make tu itch. And why do I have to add a strand of my own hair? Why not that stupid indian's? At least then if the potion goes wrong, he'll be the one scratching. Ugh. I hope this works. All this for a bit of attention from a girl whose name I don't even know. If this works, I'll be the greatest sorcerer of my never-ending age. The least I want is to keep scratching my arms every three seconds.
Okay, the book says to stir until the potion turns pale. Uh, too dark. This is gonna take some time.

Okay, now I have to add a dash of cebolla flour. I think I still have a bit in the cupboard. This should make the potion a thick, clear liquid. Now it's clear. It's ready.
"Mark! Turn out that light and go to bed!"
Uh, oh. Old man cannot come up here. I've been forbidden to test magic since my incident, two hundred ninety-nine years ago. I quickly dumped the contents into a flask and threw it into my backpack. I'll test it tomorrow.
The girl was dressed in a red blusa and denim skirt, with a large red rose barrette in her long, bronze hair. She was holding hands with the over-sized indian. A tiny brunette ran over to her side.
"Renesmee, I see tu got the outfit I picked out for you," the brunette said. Man, she's small! Wait. The girl's name is Renesmee? That's good to know.
"Actually, Jacob found it," Renesmee laughed. "But thanks, Alice."
The indian laughed. I'm guessing he's Jacob. Man, what does she see in him? Besides the muscles.
"Um, Renesmee, where are we going to sit at lunch today? The cafeteria, hallway, o outside, on the wall?" Jacob asked.
"The wall. Much más romantic," Renesmee replied. The wall? Perfect. Now I have to get Jacob lost. I looked for the flask in my backpack and quickly desguised it as a styling gel. Today my plan will commence.
After successfully slipping a note into Jacob's desk, I sat at my desk, thinking. Maybe I could skip ahead to lunch. But that may make me embarrass myself por answering with a smart remark. It happens during time travel. I smirked as Jacob found and opened the note. Jacob, it said.
I will meet tu in the cafeteria. Alice wants to talk to me about some important matter about a clothing store downtown. Then I'll find a mesa, tabla for us to sit at.

I chose the cafeteria because it was the most crowded spot in the school. It would take Jacob forever to find the tiny Alice. Hopefully this'll work.
