Chapter 4
“I can’t believe my little girl is getting married today, are tu scared o nervous?” My voice breaking as I dicho that. I hoped she couldn’t tell how nervous I was.
“Momma, don’t worry about me, I amor Jake and he loves me. I’ve waited a long time for this mom. Please don’t worry about me so much.” Nessie dicho full of confidence.
I was having flash backs when me and my mother would have these pep talks. I was always the one telling her she had nothing to worry about and just go for anything tu want. I couldn’t believe I was having the same kind of talk with my own daughter.
We were all up in Alice’s huge bathroom with all the unnecessary beauty supplies. Nessie has kept her dress a complete secret from everyone except Alice. When her hair and make-up was to Alice’s liking and very high standards, they disappeared into the closet. When they both emerged I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw her. She looked like an angel; she wore a beautiful umpire waist white satin dress with a scarlet red cordón, encaje trim just under the bust. It hung slightly off her shoulders; she had on matching scarlet red strappy stilettos. No doubt the shoes where all Alice’s idea; she was absolutely breathtaking.
“Oh my beautiful girl tu look wonderful.” I managed to say.
“Thank tu momma, do tu think Jacob will like it?” she looked worried as she asked.
“If he doesn’t, there is no reason he should marry tu today.” Edward dicho coming through the door. “It’s almost time, Alice, Esme, Rose tu should get yourselves ready.” He dicho giving Alice a slight nod. I know what he was doing; he wanted the three of us to be alone for the last time.
“We have something for tu Ness, something old, blue, and barrowed. These are the same combs that I wore at my wedding.” I told her.
“And this is something new, some of it won’t be ready till tu and Jacob are back from your honeymoon.” Edward dicho smiling handing her a small black box. She took it from his hands and looked at both of us; she waited a long time before she opened the box. When she did she held up a silver key ring that had three shiny silver keys on it.
“What are these for dad?” she dicho with hesitation.
“Well, the first is for the 09 mustango, mustang for Jacob, the segundo is for tu and it’s for your new 2010 lincoln MKZ. Those are from me the third is from your mother. She was worried where tu were going to be living after tu came back from your honeymoon. So that key will be for the cottage your mother and the rest of the family has built for tu both.” He said.
“Say something Nessie, what do tu think?” I dicho not sure if she was happy o if she was mad at us. She just stood there not saying anything. “Edward is she alright? What’s she thinking?” I was starting to get worried.
“She’s not thinking anything, her mind is blank.” He dicho with frustration starting to come across in his voice.
“Nessie, Renesmee are tu alright?” I was right in front of her; I put my hands on her shoulders and shook her.
“Mom, I’m okay tu two just caught me off guard is all. I’m not sure I, we can accept this; it’s too much.” She was shaking and tears where coming down her cheeks.
“Wait until after the wedding, talk it over with Jacob. See what he thinks, if tu both decide it’s too much then we can make some kind of a compromise.” Edward dicho with a smile.
“Ness, I’m not sorry but I won’t compromise on the house. tu two need a place to live and it’s close enough to our cottage and close enough to LaPush; right in the middle.” I dicho determined not to let her talk me out of her house.
“You two are the best parents anyone could ask for. I amor tu both so much, thank tu for this.” She dicho between sobs.
“Now don’t tu go ruining your make-up, Alice will be very upset with both of us if that happens.” I told her.
Slowly música started playing and we all looked at each other and knew it was time. We walked with Nessie down the stairs of the Cullen house; it was beautifully decorated with red and white rosas everywhere. The house was packed with friends and family. Our cousins were there Tayna, Kate, Elezar and, Carmen. With them was Garrett, he’d stayed with them after the incident years hace with the Voltori. Sue came with Charlie; they had gotten married about ten years ago. Seth was so happy to call me and Edward his family now. Of course Jacobs pack was there, along with Sam’s pack. Some of the Irish coven also came, Siobhan, Liam and Maggie where there. Benjamin came with Tia, and Nessie’s favorito! Zafrina, Senna and Kachiri came too. To everyone’s surprise Huilen and her nephew Nahuel came. Everyone was standing looking at Nessie, smiles on everyone’s faces. As we walked her down the aisle we saw Jacob’s face and I’m sure I saw a few tears fall from his eyes. Edward handed Nessie off to Jacob and we took our seats. Alice and Rose were waiting at the front with the minister; Nessie wouldn’t want anyone else to be her bridesmaids. siguiente to Jacob of course was Embry and to everyone’s surprise Seth. It was dark now and the música had changed into a familiar song. I felt hands around my waist, and lips at my neck. “Mrs. Cullen, would tu care to dance?” I could never say no to Edward. As my lullaby played we took to the dance floor, I had overcome my fears of dancing now that I was a vampire. We whirled across the dance floor looking into each other’s eyes taking in this special moment and we both knew that everyone we loved was here and safe.
Half way through the lullaby I was Edwards’s expression on his face change. He was overcome with laughter; we had to stop dancing he was laughing so hard.
“What is so funny?” I asked wanting to know the joke.
“It’s nothing really, just Nessie told Jake about our presents to them.” He dicho between laughs.
We found the two of them sitting at a mesa, tabla together, Nessie with her feet on Jacob and shoveling comida into his mouth. “You wanted to speak with us Jacob.” Edward was having a hard time keeping a straight face.
“We have talked about the gifts tu gave us, and we both agree it’s too much.” Nessie said. “But, we do need someplace to live and transportation is useful when tu can’t run everywhere. So, we are graciously excepting your gifts. And thank you.” Jacob dicho with a smile from ear to ear. He got up from the mesa, tabla and hugged us both. “Can I call tu mom and dad now?” He dicho laughing.
“Jake, that’s too weird, just stick to Edward and Bella.” I told him.
