The Vampire Diaries is a series of four libros written por L.J Smith (sometimes referred to as L. Jane Smith) the libros follow a similar story to that of the Twilight series (although are probably at the lectura level of pre-teens) and is going to be made into a TV series por The CW. The basic plot of the story is that the protagonist (Elena) is the heroine who is the object of desire for two vampire brothers. One good and one evil who are at war for her soul.
