To me, they have one of the best buildups and stories a TV couple could ever have!! It was filled with connection, angst, fluffiness and they were deep. I feel completely in love with their story ♥

It would've been better if they hadn't cheated on people multiple times. BUT I don't get their chemistry, so for me the story wins.

^ actually to me, the cheating is part of what makes their story so great...and just further proved how inseparable they are. if it was cheating just for the shallow, mere sake of cheating, that would be one thing. but that was never the case for leyton. far from it. it was always about deep love and feelings that still remained between them, and showing that something was missing in their lives while they were apart. so much so that it led them to cheating twice, while lucas was dating other people. and i, and many others happen to love that aspect of them. if you look past the simple act of cheating, and actually consider their reasons for doing so, it actually says pretty amazing things about the kind of couple that they are :D

but ofcourse their chemistry is great too!

The story wins for sure, perfect in every way. Plus, I don't think they have that much chemistry.

I really don't like their story. Seasons 1-4 I thought that maybe if I read the scripts of the episodes and didn't actually watch them- maybe I would have liked them more. But I don't know if I have a different perspective after watching seasons 5 and 6, or if it's just from maturing and changing, or from re-watching the whole series multiple times... but I am just not a fan of their story.

But I do think they had some great chemistry in season 1.

Because they have no chemistry :) Or I don't see it...even if I like them :)

After season 1, Lucas and Peyton had no chemistry. And even though I hated their story (it made no sense), it was better than their chemistry.
