While not everyone loves Bangel, I don't think they get that much hate. I'd say MOST people (obviously there are exceptions) love them, like them, or just don't care about them. Not as many people hate them.
And most BtVS fans have a strong preference when it comes to Bangel or Spuffy, but don't usually hate the other.

Yeah, maybe not here on fanpop, but on other sites, there are tons of Jate haters; but there are also tons of lovers, so I guess it's pretty equal.

I don't really have an OTP, but my current obsession is Tyler/Caroline I guess and they get next to no hate from the fandom.
