This is really just a "lesser of two evils" choice for me. I find BL's friendship very forced throughout most of the series. Even plain non-existent, at times. But then them as a couple was just a whole other disaster on it's own so... yeah. I guess I'm stuck with friendship lol.

By far! They really did not work as a couple, as friends they were so much better

I don't like them as a couple and regards to their 'friendship' if one can call it that I like it only in S5. I mean in S6 they were 'friends' but Lucas never once checked up on Brooke when she was beaten and they had maximum 4 scenes together (and in those scenes talked about their other half's.)

Yeah I never felt they were really friends but I know that they always counted on each other and cared about each other a lot and no matter what. I liked them as a couple in season 3 but as you all said when they were together it was a total mess.
