V The Bedroom
When Ember finally found a bedroom it was well worth the wait. A gorgeous raised four poster filled the centre of the room. The hangings were made up of crimson and indigo velvet square patches and the wood was jet black with intricate carvings of dragons, princesses and magical palaces climbing up and down the posts. The bedclothes were of dusky rosado, rosa silk and embroidered with beautiful jewels of the most wonderful colours imaginable. Reds and purples green and blues, they shone and sparkled dazzling in splendour.
The walls were hung with beautiful portraits, satin scarfs and tapestries depicting great deed accomplished y Valiente men. Most beautiful of all was a huge old mirror hanging on the far side of the room. It was framed with pure oro and Ember ran her hand down it surprised to find it warm as though someone had left it lying out in the sun. She turned her eyes to the surface of the mirror and started back in surprise at what she saw.
People, the room was filled with people. But when she turned to look behind her the room seemed empty. She turned back to the mirror. People of all different backgrounds and looks stood there but her eye was drawn to a particularly regal looking old lady sitting in state in a velvet armchair.
She wore an aquamarine dress that matched her eyes perfectly and was adorned with jewels of all kinds. But it was the look on her face that drew Ember to her. A dreadful pain, too strong to put into words was etched on her lined face. Ember knew this woman had experienced great sorrow and being well-acquainted with the feeling herself she naturally wanted to help her. But whenever she looked behind her there was no one there. The woman in the mirror looked up and with a sad watery smile gestured towards the bed.
“Come,” her face seemed to say. “Rest now, you’ve had a long día and tu must be tired”
So Ember collapsed into the cama that made her feel as though she were floating on a nube and she fell asleep.

We are going separate ways.
We must leave each other,
Though I regret it,
There is nothing either of us
Can do.
We are going separate ways.
The bright light shines in our futures,
For the separate ways we go
Are the best for each of us.
We must leave for the good of it,
Though I don't want to,
And I know tu don't either.
But it is important that we do.
It is never easy
Doing what we do the worst,
Leaving each other,
And the thoughts that we are...
Best friends...leaving each other...
We must go our separate ways.
For our own good.
And we pray that one day...
We will meet each other again.
And we will.
We must leave each other,
Though I regret it,
There is nothing either of us
Can do.

Ya tell me,
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All día long, all día long
What makes tu think you're so damn awesome?
Don't ya know we have a life too, too?
We'd be sittin in watching TV
And I don't think tu want that either
So what the heck can we do?
We're not just mindless robots with nothing else to do
We don't have time for homework
We just wanna have fun, fun, fun
We have a life, no time for homework
We can go ahead and play flag football
But I'm not goin inside
Why do tu act like
There's nothin else better than
Doin homework all night long
I bet tu never liked that when tu were young
We've been playin outside
Now it's time to kick in and relax
No más time for homework, just sit back and do the things I amor to do
Cuz I gotta enjoy my life when I'm young.
Don't dance, don't dance,
Just stay inside and never go out
And scold me
All día long, all día long
