I think he's an amazing actor but not THE best alive. Older actors such as Donald Sutherland, Jason Isaacs, Alan Rickman are better. But the actors in his age group - I'd say Tom Hardy is probably the best :)

No one's doubting. I jus dicho in present time he isn't the best alive and he isn't. The older actors have had time to hone their actuación skills over the years and Hardy is now getting his chance. He's in an extremly good place as there is hardly anyone of his age group who can out-act the guy. Fact.
