titanic Pregunta

Are Jack and Rose based on a true story?

I don't know what exactly happened to the real Titanic, only what the movie portrays.
So I was wondering if the director got the idea from a survivor and if anyone knew.

No there not, but it is possible that it is based on a couple that went threw something like that, o it could be story that a survivor had told when they got off the ship, but I don't think it is.

No they are not real. They are fictional. Titanic's sinking is very interesting but writer and director Jim Cameron wanted to spice it up and made a amor story out of the 1912 sinking of Titanic.

No, it's not based on a true story. The sinking of Titanic, that really happened. Some characters were real, and were on board the Titanic. Like Molly, Andrews, Captain Smith, Ismay, and más I'm sure. However, the characters Jack and Rose are fictional.

Sorry to say, they are not. James Cameron made it up so audiences could get a sympathetic view and really feel for the 1912 marine disaster. And in my opinion, his goal really was accomplished!
