Erftolias Langus, o the Langus, is a very calm and peaceful creature that resides in Oestand's marshes. Capable of growing as tall as fifteen feet, Langi(lane-guy) are mossy creatures with bodies covered in intoxicating mushrooms and large lump filled tails that drag across the ground as they mover across the land. Their heads are the sturdiest parts of their body.
Unlike other creatures, the Langi are one of the few in Oestand capable of harnessing a form of minor magic known as mithromancy, which allows it to breathe under water without need of gills despite being a land dwelling creature. Langi are also known for their minor resistance against magics.
They also are able to manipulate the nature around them to a certain degree, this being the manner they use to construct the igloos of wood, vine, and moss that they rest within.
The Langi are also known to be very druid like in nature and are connected the earthly elements around them.
Unlike most, the Langi are one of the rare species that reproduce asexually from the moss on its body. Their connection is dicho to be so strong with nature that the moss that falls during its shedding season becomes its own organism that, overtime, grows until it becomes an adolescent Langus. On occasions, más than three grow at a time. They are believed to be the oldest dwelling creatures in the land, with rare instances of some being highly intelligent and intellectual to the degree that they are able to learn different languages and magics.
The más common forms of intelligence from these creatures are when they are watering the plant life during dry seasons to preserve the nature around them. They have also been observed in the act of mediation.

Langi are algivors, meaning that they only feed on algae that they find por sticking their faces into the marshes and using the aroma from its mushrooms to attract algae towards it to be consumed.
However, Langi don't necessarily need to eat to survive. It is known that they can live off of water alone for almost a decade's time.
—Behavior—
The Langi are mysteriously tranquil creatures that roam in a sloth like fashion across the marshland with their mushrooms exhaling intoxicating.
They take their time while they mover and take care of their inicial with the pollen that they shake from their moss.
Most creatures that they encounter aren't large enough to be a threat, but when it does encounter predatory creatures of hunters that greedily desires its moss o mushrooms, it is able to dig itself underground in order to flee, o use its magic to defend itself.
The Langi are rather pacifistic creatures, the only cases of them attacking being when their backs are against the wall.
The Langi are also known to be gift-giving to those that treat the environment with respect, o those that they come to consider a companion.
