John is and has been TOGS's employee of the mes for the past couple of years. He's also been the employee of the año for the past couple of years. Yet...no one remembers when it was exactly that he showed up. What is known however is that if there is an opportunity for más to be done around the store, he will be the first one there. No matter what the job is, he will always, eerily be the first one there. Employees note that sometimes its like he's in más than one place at the same time. And when tested to see just how loyal he was to TOGS as a joke por the employees, he showed up in the middle of a hurricane barefooted in only his pajamas and the same unsettling friendly smile.

But John Johnly-Johnson Johnsanson, from the his name to the smile that seems to be permanently glued to his face, all the way to the way his eyes are so slanted that they never quite seem to truly be open, is a strange man. He speaks in a painfully off-putting cheerful manner constantly and sometimes can be caught staring at certain employees with a frozen posture and unwavering smile.

John is extremely serious about his work and even más so with punctuality down to every minuto and every second. It is this unnatural work ethic that got him into the position of assistant manager in no time at all.

John refers to himself as a "Smiley" and is known to refer to some of his fellow employees as "mere homosapiens" o "average beings" o anything that makes it seem as if he isn't one himself.
