Overall a good episode. There's some complaining though. I'll get to that after.

Everything with Carl broke my heart, BUT the scene that really broke me down and made me sob like a baby was when he said goodbye to Judith and then later Michonne. That was just heartbreaking. Also, when Carl shot himself also made me cry. Because then it was real and I still can't get over it.

I LOVED everything happening at the Kingdom. Bad-Ass Carol and Psyho Morgan, that was a good team lol. I loved loved loved the scenes where Gavin was like running for his life and then Morgan was just walking very slowly, dragging his stick on the ground. It really felt like I was watching a classic serial killer movie and I love those. Though, I really didn't enjoy Henry killing Gavin. I don't care that Gavin died, but I don't like that little Henry was the one :( Also, I'll never say that enough, but I love how Ezekiel talks.

Now to the parts I enjoyed less. I actually rolled my eyes at the flash-forward scenes. Still very off-putting and unnecessary. And when Carl was talking about future Alexandria, the fact that they showed those images AGAIN really just took away from the emotion of the scenes.

Alright. Now my bitching is about to begin. I've already said that I thought the writers killing was Carl was fucking bullshit. I keep that opinion. But now.... It's even worst!!! Alright writers, you mean to fucking tell me that you killed Carl ONLY and I mean ONLY to get Rick to the point to not kill Negan and make friends.... REALLY???? Kirkman got there in the comics WITHOUT killing Carl, so WHAT THE FUCK??? From that episode, what I understand is that there was NO OTHER reason to kill Carl. So now I'm even more pissed. CONGRATS!!!

Oh my god this was the most boring freakin' episode since How Morgan Got His Stick.

It took me the entire damn episode to figure out who the hell this "Henry" was that they were looking for. Thought I was mishearing, or had missed something. But howdy, random murder child I don't recognize/care about.

Coral's peace preaching went on so long, I wanted to end him myself to put us BOTH out of our misery.

But LOL @ Prick's "kangdom" line at the beginning and OMG LOL @ Gardening Negan. XD

Oh, and one more thing: "Everything I did was for you." The appropriate response was: DON'T YOU PUT THAT EVIL ON ME, link

I also had no idea who Henry was lol.

Once again, this was a poorly made episode. They should have focused entirely on Carl's death for a normal length episode, and then done the Kangdom stuff in the next episode. The back-and-forth between those two stories, as well as Carl's Imaginary Garden Land, disrupted both stories and so lessened the impact of both. Also, they were happening at the same time, right? I was pretty sure they were, but then something happened that made me think maybe they weren't, but I can't remember what it was now...

I had feels for Michonne through the Extended Carl Death, but mostly I was sad for the actors who clearly don't want this dumb storyline. Most of it was pretty boring and repetitive, but I can see how if you loved Carl, that was a traumatic episode. I did think the scene with Michonne and Prick out the front of the church while Carl shot himself was powerful though. But then I just got mad that TWD is so capable of producing amazing moments, but they seem to need 98% of an episode as filler for those moments to happen.

This might be a dumb question because I'm not sure if I missed something... but why, in Carl's Imaginary Garden Land, does Prick have a limp and a cane? I understand that in the comics Prick gets injured and needs the cane, but why does TV Carl imagine that in his ultimate dream version of the world he leaves behind? That plus the extra explanation of why Prick looks like Santa just seems to me like they had tried to misdirect people so hard with that future scene that they now are left to explain nonsense that doesn't fit... unless I missed something... which I might have given my disinterest...

I absolutely LOVED Rampage Morgan. Even though it made no sense, I loved him disemboweling the Savior. And I agree with Bibi: I loved him stalking Gavin. That is the kind of Morgan I want to see on FTWD. BUT then they ruined it all with the crying and whining about whether or not to kill him (even Carol????? Carol likes to murder now! Please don't start fucking her character up!!!). Thank god for Smol Henry ending that drama.

So some brief moments of Morgan Excellence and A WILD NEGAN GROWING IN THE GARDEN bumped this up from hate to disappointment.

^I think it was really just a nod to the comics. Because there was indeed zero explanation to why Rick is that way in the dream sequence.
