The siguiente morning Boomer awoke with césped, hierba tickling his face. "A...achoo!" he sneezed, getting up, not remembering where he was. "Oh..." he sighed, thinking of how his brothers threw him out last night.

Boomer spotted the neighborhood stay cat roaming around. "Hey!" he called. "Come here!" The dark gray tabby tom had no name, so Boomer decided he should give the cat a name. "Cat!" he called once more, getting the tom's attention. It trotted over to him, sitting down and nudging Boomer on the arm. "You have no name," Boomer pointed out. "So I'll call you..." he sat there, his hand over his mouth, thinking for a moment. "Uh..." Boomer really had no idea what to name this cat. "Do tu have a name?" Boomer asked, picking him up. The cat meowed and purred. "Hm. I need someone to talk to, I wish tu could-" an idea sudden;y struck him like a fist in his face.

Boomer flew inside, grabbed a marker and paper, and wrote this: I am a small cat who needs a voice. Please help me and give me one. "Take this down the calle until tu come to a four-way turn. Turn left and when tu see the house with three big windows, scratch at the door." He wasn't sure if the cat understood him, but the smoky tom took the piece of paper and ran down the street.

Later that evening, around 6:00, Boomer's feline friend hadn't returned. He went outside and waited in the césped, hierba until the sun went down. Boomer was just about to go inside when he felt tiny claws at his leg. His face lit up at seeing his friend. "Did you-" The cat meowed. "Oh...Did they-" the cat meowed again. "Let me finish-" "meow." Boomer groaned. "Goodnight, kitty."

The small tom purred a goodnight, and ran off down the calle again. "I was for sure they would do it..." Boomer dicho to himself.

At the PowerPuff Girls' house

There was a clawing sensation at the door. "Smokey's back!" Bubbles exclaimed as she flew to the door. She opened it, and the small dark gray tabby tom walked in. "Smokey!" Blossom screeched as she landed on the floor, stroking his head. Smokey purred. "You girls have really outdone yourself," he mewed, nudging Bubbles in the side. "You're lucky I didn't use my voice tu gave me on the blond kid that looks like you-" -he pointed to Bubbles with his tail- "-He was the one in the first place to make me give tu the note." "But...but why him?" Bubbles asked. "He's got his no-good-for-it brothers."

"Yes, but they made him sleep outside last night." Smokey meowed, sitting down and moving a wet paw over his face for a wash. Bubbles let out a faint gasp, and hugged Smokey. "-ow-" the little tom mewed.

"Hey- Smokey's here!" Buttercup's voice sounded from the corner. "Last time we saw tu was-" "-Was last night," Blossom finished Buttercup's sentence.

"He kept asking me, 'did they-' o 'do you-'," Smokey went on. "What's his name? The blond one?" "Boomer," Bubbles grumbled angrily. "Well, 'Boomer', dicho he needed someone to talk to. That's why he sent me." Smokey mumbled, twitching his tail. "So what?" Buttercup asked. "Well," Blossom started. "You should at least tell him tu have owners now." Smokey nodded and went out the door. He ran down the calle and made it in five minutos to where Boomer was. "Man, he's not outside." Smokey grumbled. He walked up to the doorstep and meowed and scratched the door. Another boy with black hair and green eyes opened the door, and Smokey ran in quick before he could shut it. "Hey!" The boy shouted. "You can't just run in here!"

Smokey spotted Boomer in front of the TV. He hopped up on the sofa, and nudged Boomer. "Huh- you!" Boomer peeped, petting him on the back. "Boomer-" Smokey started. "So tu dotalk!" Boomer gasped. "Yes, but, I have owners now. I cannot stay with you, but I will visit más than twice every moon." Smokey meowed. "Moon- what? Who's your owners?" Boomer asked. "The...You wouldn't like them." Smokey twitched his ears, and nudged Boomer once more. "The house with the three big windows," Smokey finally answered. "What?" Boomer growled. "But- I hate them! They estola you!" Boomer gaped. "They didn't steal me, I chose them." Smokey realized those were the wrong words to say. "I have to go," Smokey mewed, and ran towards the door. "Brick let the cat out," he heard Boomer say. "What cat?" came another voice. "The one por the door, mouse-brain!" Smokey hissed.

A boy with naranja hair and red eyes came to him, and opened the door. "Eh...you can...go..." Brick opened the door and let Smokey out.

"Good-bye," he meowed before running away.
