Because it was my first touch with PotO (apart from hearing the theme song), and it's my favorite version. Although I do wish they'd have some aspects more like in the stage play.

After I think of that, I realize that they're probably talking about one of the ALW versions.

i'm going to see the stage show in 18 days 58 minutes and 38.2 seconds, so i am going to think of the show first...

Like bendaimmortal, it was also my first experience with the POTO. I love the movie, but would have loved to have seen the play too. :-)

It was the first verson of Phantom Of the Opera I ever saw and I watched t in Chorus like every day the last week of school so I never got to finish it :( .

Although the movie was the first I SAW.. the musical was the first I heard and I'd seen pictures and whatnot and now that I've seen it.. nothing really compares to that..

My mind goes to the book first but then quickly to Kay's novel and then to the play (usually by now I've started ranting about all the different versions of the Phantom and how amazing it is... people have stopped listening by this point too) the 2004 movie is usually where my train of thought ends. He is my least favorite phantom (I can't say about the other movies I haven't seen them.) so I usually think about him last. Unfortunately sometimes the lines between Leroux novel and Kay's get a little blurred for me since I like them both so much.

I think of the musical, but I also think of the 2004 movie. :-)
