Darry and Dally looked at (Y/N) from the couch. She was talking with Soda on the front porch, smiling, laughing at what he said. They both thought tu had a beautiful laugh, and that tu were completely adorable.
Darry was jealous of Soda, he thought he could take better care of you, provide a better life.
Dally thought he could protect tu more, and amor tu better.
Their hearts both broke as Soda leaned down to kiss you.

tu groan and turn over. tu had the flu. tu were really sore,tired, and cold. tu thought nothing could make tu feel better.
“Hey, (Y/N), tu hungry?” Your boyfriend Soda asks from the doorway.
tu shake your head. “I’m just cold.” tu sniffle.
“Well that can be fixed.” He says smiling.
He gets onto the bed, and snuggles close to you, and puts all the blankets on parte superior, arriba of you.
“Soda, you’re gonna get sick and…”
“I don’t care… All I care about is you, and that you’re gonna feel better.”
The cars zoomed by.
“This makes me so nervous.” tu say.
“Why?” Soda asks, smiling.
“What if the cars blow up, and we die? o what if they crash? Or-“
“Hey it’s going to be fine,” He interrupts you. “Have some popcorn.”
“But what if I’m eating palomitas de maiz, palomitas de maíz and the cars blow up and we die?”
“Then I’ll blow up and die eating palomitas de maiz, palomitas de maíz with the girl I love.”
And he kisses tu on the lips.
“Darry, how do tu feel about kids?” tu ask.
“About having kids?” He asked. tu were nervous.
“Yeah.”
“I’ve never told anyone this really… But it’s been my goal in life to be a better father figure than I ever was to Soda o Ponyboy… I thought I did a good job, but I know I could’ve done better.” He scratches his neck. “So yeah I’d want to have kids.”
“Well that’s good.” tu smile.
“Why?” He asks. “You aren’t…” He starts, but then looks at you. “You are aren’t you?” His smile lights up the whole room.
tu nod your head. He picks tu up in a big oso, oso de hug.
“Daddy, do I look ok?” Grace asks. I put down my newspaper to look at my 15 año old daughter. Wow.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart.” It pained me to see her going on her first date. But I was smiling.

“I know.” I manage to say. “You’re a good kid.”
“Not like Faith,” Grace grins. Oh my Faith. Nine years old and already had a “boyfriend”. She was completely hilarious.

I get up off the sofá to give her a hug.
“I amor tu Daddy.”
“Love tu too, sweetheart.”
“You’re still going to be the first boy I fell in amor with.”

Darry’s P.O.V
“Daddy?” Danny asks from the back seat. He was six now, and Olivia was one.
“What happened to your mommy and daddy?” He asks.
I don’t answer for a minute, just keep driving. What do I say?
“My mommy and daddy are hanging out in heaven.” Is all I can think of to say.
“They’re partying with Jesus?” Danny asks. “That’s cool!”
“Yeah, bud,” I smile. “Partying with Jesus.”
“Yes I do.” She says in that you’ve-told-me-a-million-times voice.
“Ok… Well are tu sure tu want to do this?” I ask nervously.
“I’m positive.” She says as she gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
“I swear, if tu hurt yourself…” I shake my head.
The motorcycle starts, and goes forward. Instead of going with the motorcycle., she flips off backwards from it.
I immediately rush to (Y/N).
“Oh my god, (Y/N), are tu ok? Are tu hurt? Where are tu hurt?” I say, head spinning. If she’s hurt badly I’ll just…
“Dally I’m fine.. The motorcycle-“
“Steve can fix the motorcycle. Are tu ok? Where are tu hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?”
“Dally I’m fine!” She laughs.
“You worry me,” I say, as I scoop her into a hug.
