Well, I don't know if it would be the same as when Katniss and Peeta were in the arena. They used what Peeta said about having a crush on Katniss to make the whole star-crossed lovers thing. If Gale was in the arena the whole thing could be different. The whole story ends up the way it did because Peeta was in the arena. I mean, there's so many different theories of things that could happen. Gale could be killed, Katniss might have been killed by the Careers, etc. A lot of things would of ended up differently.



I liked Peeta in the arena, and it was also surprising. Because Gale and Katniss are best friends AND go in the arena?! Peeta in the arena added another character, a new development. But how would I feel if Gale went in? I don't know exactly...Maybe I would feel like he deserved Katniss more than Peeta because he went through the Games with her. But I really liked Peeta in the arena so...

NO!! i like how things turned out, and even though i don't like gale i wouldn't want him in because he had to take care of his and katniss's families.

I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE GALE TO DEATH!!!!!!! but I don't exactly know how I would feel if he went into the Games instead of Peeta...I like thinking about it...The whole book would be different...
