I know the book describes Katniss as aceituna, oliva skinned and black hair, but I don't. One, people need to realize that there is a 1 in a million chance of finding an aceituna, oliva skinned actress with black hair and gray eyes who is perfect for the part. Odds are she will have to wear contacts, get over it . . . Two, I don't know if tu understand that aceituna, oliva skinned is code for: white girl who just has a tan. She doesn't need to be as dark as a Native American! So really if it's the choice between a girl with a tan and a pale girl, WHO CARES, pick the better actress. Also, black o dark brown hair make NO difference. It's not like her black hair is impertinent to the plot. It's just her description. Now if this were Pretty Little Liars and Spencer and Melissa needed to have blond hair because Ali is their freaking sister (GRR!!!!) That would be different. I actually picture Katniss as a dark brunette with fair skin. Sue me for being creative. Toptions (top options) Kristen Stewart, (But she could never do it because she's Twilight) Alexandra Daddario, Jodelle Ferland, Troian Bellisario, Emma Roberts, (with dark hair) Hannah Marks, (Emmy Rossum is 24 which is the same age as Troian and Alex bet she may look a little to old)and maybe Dakota Fanning, (If she would die her hair dark of course.) Let me know if tu have other questions, and look up Hannah Marks cause I doubt you've heard of her. Honestly though. . . I think a no name fresh face would be the best. In the pictures I edited some of the girls a little to match the role. I didn't change Alexandra Daddario at all :)
