Look people! There is no "Team Peeta", o "Team Gale". This book isn't a romance. It's about a distopia and what violence does to people. tu won't think your little teams are so cute when tu read Mockingjay. Gale kills Prim and Peeta goes insane and thinks Katniss is evil! It's a dark, emotional book!! Don't tu dare compare it to the stupid series where vampiros "sparkle"! "Oh no! He's sparkling! Ahh!" más like, he's sparkling, let's never let him use glitter unsupervised again. NO ANGRY COMMENTS. Of course you're gonna ignore me and make them but I don't really care.

primforever Yeah, i dont want it to be like twilight. It's the Hunger Games, and I dont think we should have teams! I've read mockingjay and i totally agree with you! I tried twilight and hated them, so i dont want my fave books turning into them!!!

xoxinkheartxox Look, I agree with you that romance is not the main factor in The Hunger Games, there are a thousand more important issues to focus on.. but the fact is; you're dreaming if you think that they aren't going to play up the romance. That's what they do. No matter what movie it is. It's a way for them to try and get the Twilight fans(and pre teens) to see the movie, and lets face it.. if Twilight fans get into it, then Lionsgate aren't going to have any trouble at the box office, because there are a hell of a lot of Twilight supporters out there. About the whole 'Team' issue, well I don't think you're going to avoid that either. Most people seem to think that it's an exclusively Twilight thing.. but I don't think that it is. I'm pretty sure it was around before Twilight and that it's just a way for people to say who they like better. And as I said before, your'e dreaming if you think that it's not going to happen. Anyway, sorry about my rant. But whenever I see posts like this, my first reaction is.. 'You're not thinking realistically' or 'get over it!'. Seriously when the movie comes out, just enjoy the awesomeness that is The Hunger Games, and don't worry about all this stuff. But I do hope, I didn't offend you or anything.. because that wasn't my purpose.

LifesGoodx3 Why does it matter? We [i]know[/i] it's not a romance book, hello, we read it! But honestly, what's the difference between saying "I wanted Katniss to end up with Peeta" or "I'm Team Peeta!"? They both mean the same thing.

skins-01-fan Frankly, you can't make people stop saying 'Team Peeta/Gale'. That's always going to be in every fanbase. Your just gonna have to learn to deal with it my friend.

Nemisis hazel don't be mean too me I mean look at my Icon and I'm your bestest friend I do the team peeta thing and I get the violonce thing ... plus your the one who talks about dissimbodied heads all the time! and yes its stupid that Edward sparkles but that doesn't mean that the series is stupid hazel your the one always saying every one can have their own opinions so stop saying that things that other people like are stupid just because you don't like them and same with the team thing a lot of people ( you know this doesn't include me) only read the hunger games for the romance

silver93 It should be shipping not teams. Teams are about what guy the girl thinks is hottest, not who is best for the character. That's why there are people that say i'm team Jacob for the movie, but team Edward for the books. Shipping is about relationships.
