The internet recently erupted into a frenzy when a video of Miley Cyrus allegedly admitting to smoking marihuana surfaced online. The video in pregunta was taken during Miley’s birthday party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. When presented with a cake made to look like known pot-smoker Bob Marley, Miley remarked:

tu know you’re a stoner when your friends make tu a ‘Bob Miley’ cake. tu know tu smoke way too much f––ing weed.

Well, it turns out the popstar was only joking and now pal and party hostess Kelly Osbourne has taken it to Twitter to defend her friend.

“Let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE,” Kelly tweeted to followers, “the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!”

While celebrating her 18th birthday last year, Miley was filmed smoking salvia, a legal herb with hallucinogenic effects, out of a bong and the incident caused a backlash from concerned parents. So when the starlet was taped talking about dabbling in marihuana at this year’s birthday bash, rumors of further drug usage began to arise.

“u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think,” Osbourne wrote in a following tweet.
