I really think there should be a sequel to E.T. It can't just end like that. Elliott and E.T. are buddies. They gotta see each other again.

yes your right but the way the original E.T is its fine that way. with almost every movie the first part is always the best, and besides if there was a sequel to E.T it should have been made lond ago, no más than 3 years after E.T.

E.T. is a pretty magical film. Mr. Spielberg decided pretty early on to let it stand alone. I think alien encounters are fascinating topic to Mr. Spielberg. But a sequel to E.T. would be hard to pull off, even for him. I actually think a story about Elliott as an adult (without E.T.) would be an interesting movie. But I doubt anyone else would go for it.
