As tu may know that this spot is based on Spike & Buffy from Season 6. The relationship is about Hate turning into lust. What from I understand is that Buffy was respondsible of their addiction.

Ever Since Buffy was back she was different, loss, confused and no way to feel alive again. Until there was Spike who turned everything around. Epsiodes like After Life, Flooded, Life Serial & All the way, was a step to there relationship. Then connections was coming to close like Buffy was feeling something from Spike in the epsiode "Once más with Feeling", Spike sang a song called "Rest in Peace" which was something Buffy was feeling something much deeper.

Then the rest of the mostrar played out in the season. Until Buffy's ex Riley Finn came back to stop a demon and the eggs was held por the Doctor a.k.a Spike who has them to keep. Riley knew that Buffy would end up with Spike eventually but he knew that Buffy forget who she was and Spike was too. After that moment Buffy told the truth to Spike that she was using him and needs to mover on.

Spike & Buffy was feeling so loss without each other until Spike raped her to win her back, and Buffy fought him off and Spike went out to get a soul for her.

So this spot dedicated to Spuffy's darkest Season yet, and they were out of control. Forgeting who they were and what they are. That was something that they both need to live with in life.
