Why can sonic fans and Mario fans never get along?

Mario and sonic fan are like jacob and edward fans chose the side u want persuade the other side better and hate the other side

Because sonic fans are too stuborn to admit that mario is the REAL ultimate lifeform. He can get the princess to fall in amor with him without any good looks, he always has 1-up mushrooms so he practically never dies! This is coming from a huge Mario fan and a Sonic fan too so dont acuse me of being only a mario fan, even though Super Mario Bros 3 was my inspiration to become a video game designer, mario has been around longer, theres not a single person in this world who doesnt know mario, and because the mascot war between him and sonic abruptly came to an end when he planted a white fisted guante in sonic's face. parte superior, arriba that. Sonic cant even beat shadow! Remember the opening to Shadow the Hedgehog when sonic was beaten the living crap out of himself! how pathetic! He cant beat an artifical hedgehog with nothing but a freakin gun...

I don't care, Mario and Sonic games are tied in my third favorito! Classic Games. So I hope this sheds some light, I know a lot of people that like both pretty equally and those that like the other a lot more. I get along fine with them, so there, Proof that both can be equal.

Maybe because Sonic is from SEGA, and Mario is from Nintendo.
