I actually liked Zod a lot más during and after this episode, Conspiracy. Before this ep, whenever there was Zod screentime I would usually say "Oh brother!" I didn't really like how Callum Blue plays Zod, upping the drama and decorum of speech. I would think, "bah this is Smallville, not Shakespeare." He's no Terence Stamp, who I found to be much scarier because of his excellent use of subtlety. ¯(º_o)/¯
However, something changed in me this episode. We saw a different side to Zod. And somehow, his method of actuación fit better with these new facets.
