A pop song blared through large speakers, loud enough to make the booze in your cup ripple. The body heat in the room was bordering stifling and tu had lost your friend a while ago.

Sighing through your nose tu took a large drink of the liquid in your hand. It burned as it went down your throat but the tingle it sent through tu compensated for it.

“Hey, babe” A crisp voice drawled. Turning yourself around tu were confronted por a guy about a few inches taller then tu but a had a rather stocky build and gelled back hair.

“Oh! hola Tyler, can I… Uh, help you?” tu tilted your head to the side a bit and he shrugged in a nonchalant manner,

“Question is can I help you?” tu did your best not to cringe at those sleazy words. He gave tu a grin and tu smiled back a bit uncomfortable. tu gazed into your cup eager to escape his attempts to flirt with you

He had seen her earlier. Her (H/c) caught the light and when she turned her (e/c) eyes shone with a hidden light. He couldn’t get her out of her head. How she smiled. Just the way her lips curved up to reveal a set pearly whites

(Y/n) sat beside the lanky boy in Chemistry and the shy smiles she’d give him when he nodded to him drove him crazy. His mind hand wandered and Bill punched his shoulder with surprising strength

“Ow, what the heck man.” He scowled rubbing the sure to bruise are

“Dude you’ve been spaced out for like ten minutes.” He made a rough imitation of what a stoner would look like after one too many bowls.

“Nah man I’m pretty sure he was drooling over that chick from Chem.” His Bandmate Ben joked.

“Was not…” He muttered and a feeling crept up on him. It rose the hairs on the back of his neck. Something was wrong…

“Listen to Ty. I-I’d really rather tu didn’t” The emphasis tu put on the word “really” had him searching through the crowd of bodies.

“Yo, dude what’s up-” Ben stopped short as Rodrick pushed past someone vanishing into the crowd “What the heck…?” He looked to the others but all they could offer was shrugs at the drummer’s sudden desertion.

Your back was to the muro and your free hand was on Tyler’s chest in a sad attempt at keeping him from entering your personal bubble any further.
His breath reeked of Soda and he seemed determined a hand slipping to your waist. tu stiffened when and arm set itself to rest on your shoulder.

“Hey, babe.” tu looked over to see… Rodrick Heffley!? tu leaned towards his surprisingly solid chest as Tyler’s hand was retracted.

“Hey, baby.” tu replied playing along. Tyler traded a look with Rodrick,

"Didn’t know tu had a girl, Heffley.“ There was an odd tone to his voice and Rodrick rubbed your shoulder gently.

"Yeah, a real catch.” He hums. Tyler, losing interest meandered off.

"Thanks, Heffley appreciate it…“ tu murmured a bit shyly. Holy shoot! Rodrick Heffley just saved your skin AND is talking to you!

"No problem I mean what else was I sapotsa-” The buzzing of your phone cut him off. Apologizing tu hastily answered it,

"Casey!? Where are you?!“ tu hissed only to hear a set of giggles,

"Sorry (Y/n) change on plans.”

"Change of plans you’re my sober driver!“ tu sighed heavily receiving only a burst of drunken laughter an apology and the beep of a disconnected line.

"Uh… lost your drive?” Rodrick inquired, “I’ve got a van.” Chewing your lower lip.

"Yeah… tu really wouldn’t mind driving me?“ He shook his head.

"It’s no biggie.” He grabbed your hand and pulled tu through the crowd. tu felt your face flush as tu neared the door. Once outside he led tu to a white camioneta, van with the words “Loded Diper” written on the front.

tu climbed in the passenger asiento and he pulled out the driveway and onto the road. tu drove slowly through the quiet street,

"Hey, Heffley…“

"It’s Rodrick but yeah?” He hummed eyes on the road.

“Thanks.” He looked at tu then back at the road.

“For?”

“For? For saving me back there?” tu paused, “You’re my hero… Rodrick”

The lanky brown haired boy felt his chest swell with pride and his cheeks take a light rosado, rosa color.

“Another opportunity to call tu my girl isn’t something I’d pass up” He confessed making tu blush lightly.

“T-Then why not call me your girl?” tu chewed your lower lip eyes flitting over to him to catch a large smile,

“I’ll take tu up on that.”
