Round One: Stimpy vs Pinky. Stimpy and Pinky are both tall, dumb and have there toungs sticking out alot but which of these loveable idiots is más loveable. Well what about the voices? Pinky is played por Rob Paulson and he does a great job, Stimpy is voiced por Billy West and he also does a great job. There both great but I think I'm gonna have to go with Pinky, just because I think he's a little más developed.

Round Two: Ren VS Brain. These two are both short, violent and totally insane. Brain is hell bent on taking over the world and belives himselfe to be highly intelegent when really he's actually of just above average intelegence, but he makes up for it por using big words. Ren is insane because, well he just is. He's almost always angry o yelling. Ren defenetly has a cuter desighn then Brain, and while Maurice La Marche and John K both do a good job voicing these characters, I'm gonna have to go with Ren.

Round Three: Animation. Both of these caricaturas premeired in the 90's and where trying to bring back that classic style of cartooning, but who did it better? Well Pinky and the Brain was always darker looking, mainly because everything took place at night where Ren and Stimpy had más colerfull backrounds. Also PatB sort of abandoned the slap stick after it left Animaniacs, which I actually think makes it better. RandS never left the slap stick, even just the way they moved would be over the parte superior, arriba and exajurated, plus they did spend alot más time actually animating. Ren and Stimpy win.

Round Four: Supporting Characters. On Ren and Stimpy tu only really had a few reacuring characters besides R&S themselves. There was Mr. Hoarse, he only had one joke and that was this. In the middle of an episode he would appear, sometimes out of nowhere and say his catchphrase "no sir, I don't like it". I don't get it, how is that funny? the only funny thing he ever really did was in the episode "rubber nipple salesmen" where he was totally insane.
Then there was Muddy Mudskipper who never really did anything that memorable, but he had a catchphrase too! There was also Powdered brindis, pan tostado Man, who probably gave a ton of kids sechers. His thing was that he was a super hero with brindis, pan tostado for a head, he would save the día and sell toast, well powderd toast. Then theres George Liquore, who appeared in the infamouse banned episode "Man'd Best Friend" and a few others such as "Haunted House" and "Dog Show", his joke was, he was a consservative american. But the most recurring had to be the pipes, the normal yet totally fucked up 50's style family. Besides the reaccuring characters there were some memorable one time characters. Like who doesn't remember Kawalski from "Fake Dad" o Stinky from "Son of Stimpy". With pinky and the Brain there was Snowball the evil hámster who also wants to take over the world, but for evil reasons. There was also Billie, a girl ratón who was in a few episodes, although she does raise the pregunta as to why both Brain and Snowball both want a female version of pinky. Like RandS they too hd memorable one time characters like Romy from "Brinky" the clone combination of both Brain and pinky. But alot of the characters where just celebridades and politicians. Ren and Stimpy win.

Round Five: Episodes. With Pinky and the Brain it always followed the same formula, Brain has an idea, but he needs to do something else first. It fails and they go back to the lab, the end. Many of the Animaniacs shorts were like this. Buttons and Mindy, Chicken Boo and Katie Ka Boom also followed formulas. I never really liked Buttons and Mindy o Katie, but i did like P&tB and Chicken Boo, but why? well with B&M the throughoute the episode Buttons gets hurt, and thats the joke. With Katy she turns into a monster, and thats the joke. Even though with the other two they use alot of the same lines and it ends the same every time it's just funner because of the structor of the episode. Now with P&tB tu alway's knew what tu were going to get, but with Ren and Stimpy tu never knew. They never even lived in the same place. Sometimes they lived in a big house, sometimes they lived in a trailer and sometimes they were homeless, it was always different. There was litteraly no structure. But thats part of what made it so memorable, the fact that there is no telling what it's going to be. So with that said, who won? well lets just call this one a tie.

FINAL SCORE. Pinky and the Brain: 2 Ren and Stimpy: 3. Looks like R&S won. I honestly did not see that coming.

Ren and Stimpy, Just the name is iconic, but how did it all come to be? well a long long time hace a little nobody named John Kricfalusi would doodle, he'd doodle all kinds of things, one of them was a cat with a gigantic nose which was inspired por a 50's cartoon that was a throwback to 30's caricaturas that always featured characters with huge noses. Another was an angry little chihuahua inspired por a postcard with a picture of a little angry looking dog wearing a sweater.

Now John loved the golden age of animación for many reasons but mainly one, the cartoonist control the cartoon. Since the late...
