This is probably the wrong place to ask this but I need help.

I think the problem is that tu haven't found a book that tu enjoy yet. Think about the Harry Potter series - what was it about those libros that tu liked? What made tu want to read them?

If tu find a book that really interests you, tu want to read it. Losing patience with a book just means that tu don't find the story interesting. My consejos would be to think about past libros that you've really liked and figure out what it was tu liked about them. Then, try to find a book por the same author, o por an autor that has the same style, and try to read it. Start slowly; if tu find the book interesting, tu won't have to force yourself to read it.

If tu need recommendations for books, tons of people here and on the Literature spot are always happy to help. Or, tu could go to your nearest biblioteca o bookstore and ask someone who works there to help tu find something that tu may like.

Alternately, if tu find that the story interests you, but tu still don't have the patience to read, could it be that tu might need glasses? I first realized that I needed lectura glasses because I stopped wanting to read, and I noticed that I would get a headache every time I read for más than 15 minutos o so.

I have this problem as well but I realized I don't really want to start lectura again (I actually read manga, comics, and graphic novels instead now)
I say tu should just read a little at a time. I'm not saying read little chapter libros but may be read a chapter a day?

tu can read short novels to start with..or por chapters,pick libros that interest tu most.
