Given the incredible success of Pokémon Go since its launch just a few short weeks ago, it was only a matter of time before Hollywood green-lit another Pokémon movie. After all, you can only catch so many digital Zubats before the thirst for something more tangible starts to consume you.

Pokémon film franchise — and the studio is kicking things off with a “Detective Pikachu” movie. Needless to say, Pikachu is excited about his latest career move. The Squirtle Squad, however, is less than pleased. (Maybe they\'ll get a movie too?)

, details about the Detective Pikachu movie are being kept under wraps at the moment, but production is reportedly set to start in 2017. They obviously want to capitalize on the widespread Pokémon Go fever that\'s been going around lately.
