Outlander casts Stanley Weber, Robert Cavanagh for season 2 

'Outlander' recap: 'To Ransom a Man's Soul'

fans are still coming to terms with that devastating season 1 finale, the show is already well on its way to season 2. 

has confirmed that both Stanley Weber and Robert Cavanagh are joining the Starz drama’s cast. As

first reported, Weber will meet up with Jamie and Claire in France, where he will play Le Comte St. Germain, a member of the French Court. Rumor has it he’s known for working with the occult.

Meanwhile, Cavanagh will be playing a more familiar face—for Jamie, anyway.

broke the news that Cavanagh will join the cast as Jared Fraser, Jamie’s cousin and a strong Jacobite. Jamie and Claire will live in Jared’s mansion, and will help manage his businesses during their time in Paris as well.
