I love this song! I was just curious to see what couple ya'll thought fit this song. This is not a contest, or a free zone to jab. Purely your thoughts on this, and if you want to comment on what other people say, please do it in a respectful manner!!!

I believe this song best fits Naley, because they are both so different so they are like the "only exception" for each other......but again just my opinion......

Idunno... none really? When i listen to the first 2 verses:

When I was younger I saw my daddy cry

as he tried to reassemble it.

that she would never let herself forget.
And that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love if it does not exist.

That really does not fit any of the girls pov's.

Haley - Parents had a good/great marriage, were only separated by death.
Peyton - Parents had a good/great marriage, were only separated by death.
Brooke - Parents... weren't around but were together [from what we know] until Brooke was in her early twenties at least.

Hmmmmmmm I think if you kind of tweak it, it could fit all three couples. I think the beginning of the song could be in Brooke's point of view because yes her parents were together, but from what we know they had a pretty crappy marriage and never really loved each other and Brooke didn't really know what "love"/"caring for someone" was until Lucas. I think the chorus can be in Peyton's point of view because she never really loved and let anyone in until Lucas. And then I agree with kirkir that it could be a Naley song, if it was from Nathan's point of view. LOL IDK.
