It would be stupid of Mark to go into another season and ruin the show once and for all just because he can't let go / =

I really think they should end it because it went down hill and a lot of fans are starting to get annoyed by the show. But a talk of season 9 is happening so who knows...

I think there might be. I don't want it unless there's a really good chance of ending it with Chad and/or Hilarie, but it feels like it's gonna happen anyway. Everyone was assuming this was it, but with the talk of season 9 and the position of the CW...I don't know!

After season 5 one tree hill became soo boring:/

After Lucas and Peyton left, it just kind of went downhill for me. I wasn't a HUGE Leyton fan, but I loved both Chad and Hilarie! Great actors. Naley to me is getting very boring! Which I'm not impressed with because Nathan and Haley used to be / are my favorite characters. I think there is a strong possibility of a season nine though. Mark said that he would definitely do it again if all the actors and actresses were on board, the only one I read that they were unsure of coming back is Joy. If she leaves though, they shouldn't even bother bringing the show back. That would only leave 2 of the core 5 left. (Brooke & Nathan) That would ruin the show for me if they took Joy off.

Scratch that! I JUST read that Joy HAS signed on for another season!? Does this mean there IS a definite season nine?! O:

yes there will be. they aren't cancelling it.

This issue has been beaten to death, old fans know why it is not the same and why that isn't ok. I don't know why they bother to bring it back for s9 if they aren't going to improve anything.
