1. The Seven año Itch

C'mon, there is no way that Nathan could convince Haley to go back on tour! Have visions of grandeur in the D-leagues messed with Nate's head? Has he forgotton what happened last time his wife teamed up with a certain Chris Keller? Back in season 3, Haley's decision to pursue her música almost tore their marriage apart. For the better half of the gang's senior year, Nathan gave her hell, saying he couldn't trust her anymore, he was hurt por her selfishness, he wished he had never proposed...the lista of grievances goes on. Mark Schwann probably does know this, which is why he'll play it smart and not revive the same-old storyline from years past.

2. The Long Goodbye

Don't the OTH creators understand por now that Mouth and Millie are part of a secondary plot, which does not contribute much to the en general, general sequence of the series? We don't glue our eyes to the TV set week after week to find out if the city girl left Park Avenue to patch things up with the geek of her dreams. To be honest, no one really cares about this rocky romance as much as Leyton o naley o even the budding Brulian. Mouth had a point when he told Millicent it was time to mover adelante, hacia adelante in their relationship, so why can't they be allowed to enjoy a happy ending? It would be so painless for Mark to carve a few measley minutos out of one episode, where Mouth and Millie could kiss and make up, then nondiscriptly drive off into the sunset, maybe settle in New York, and call it a wrap. And then, wonder of wonders, he could get back to the real business of developing intrigues within the main character's amor lives.

3. The Surprise

Surprise is putting it mildly!!!! Although I should not be shocked anymore por LP tragedies, I did not see this one coming. Then again, it's way too typical that such a blessed event as a baby can't enter their lives without causing yet another problem for the star-crossed lovers. Lucas and Peyton have never been able to hold onto their perfect peice of heaven for más than a few weeks, so why should a pregnancy be any different? Maybe the cigüeña screwed up in its delivery, o más likely, fate is just ruthless when it comes to this couple. True to form though, P. Sawyer has decided to fight for her unborn child, and I'm so proud of her for not giving into Luke's abortion pleas. If anyone can beat this and come out on top, this is the girl to do it. Despite all the horors she's faced, no trial has stolen the fuego from her eyes o the passion from her soul. And Peyton, strong and steadfast, isn't gonna surrender now. Even if that means she dies, and the baby lives. Here is my theory regarding Peyton Sawyer: whenever a cliffhanger builds up the suspense, making fans fear for the blonde's survival, it turns out to be a false alarm. But now that Peyton has stated point-blank, "I am going to have this baby, and all the risks in the world can't kill me," this could very well be the end of the road for her. If that is indeed the case, some good will still come out of this pregnancy...it HAS to.

4. The Break-up?

Lucas's dreams of translating his novel onto the big screen died when Julian's production company pulled the plug on this project. I can't say I'm disapppinted, since the last thing OTH needs is another ensemble cast wreaking havoc around town. On the other hand, this could mean the end of Brooke's relationship with the first guy to come along in quite awhile. Julian has already confessed his amor for the brunette beauty, and as much as B. Davis wants to deny it, she's falling fast for her very own Hollywood hunk. But now Ravens is a no-go, and that means Julian has to go. Poor girl, she spends most of the 5th and 6th seasons alone, and when she finally finds Prince Charming, he boards a plane to LA. Does this seriously mean that Brulian is over before it had a chance to begin? We didn't even get to see any on-screen action. That's not the Brooke Davis America is used to...I can't imagine her walking away without a struggle. por the way, Jamie had the right idea when he merged Brooke, Julian, and Sam into a family - even if it was just on SIMS. How perfect!?! Unconventional yes, but what could be better than this couple raising a teen together?

5. The End of an Era

How many times has Dan Scott cheated death? How many corazón transplants have fallen through the cracks? How many people would amor to see him buried under that flashy tombstone? Yeah, tu do the math. When a dog gulped up Dan's would-be corazón at the hospital, I think it became pretty clear that this evil man will not be disrupting the lives of his sons for too much longer. There are only so many instances in which a person can seem invincible, and Dan has had más than his fair share of near-fatal encounters. Now, he needs to humbly accept the fact that survival has run its course. Hopefully, the former sociopath stops fighting the inevitable and sets this small town free from painful memories, which he is responsible for. árbol colina without Dan Scott is almost impossible to picture, but it will be a well-deserved change of pace.
