I couldn't believe it. Here I was, standing in line for the X Factor. Spencer, David, Gavin, and my foster mum stood siguiente to me, giving me supportive comentarios and squeezing my hand. Nothing would help me. I was speechless, I was so nervous, my knees were rattling in my converse.

The man at the mesa, tabla asked for my name. "Uh, L-Lilah Green." I mumbled. I couldn't tell him anymore information, I was way too nervous, so my mum finished for me. He handed me my number as I slowly peeled of the back and stuck it to my shirt. We walked inside as I saw thousands of people-- OLDER people. If the line wasn't bad enough, this lobby was even más crowded.
We made our way to the backstage entrance as I waited for my name to be called. 1 hora passed...then 2 hours.....then 3.....then 4 hours had passed. Finally after the fifth hora my name was called. We were lead to the side of the stage as I began to hear hundreds of people murmuring in the audience. I suddenly felt a little más confident. Soon a person with headsets and a clipboard told me it was time for me to go on. My mum kissed my cheek as all the boys hugged me. After I escaped their grasp I made my way onto the stage. Oh, God.......
I walked over to the X on the stage. I noticed some surprised looks on the faces of the audience, realizing how young I am. "Hello," Nicole said. Wow, she was even más beautiful in person. "Hi there," I smiled. "What's your name?" she asked. "Uh, my name is Lilah."
"And how old are you?"
"I am... 16."
He widened his eyes. "Wow, you're pretty young."
I smiled and nervously squeezed my microphone. "What will tu be canto for us today?" Nicole jumped back in. "Um, I will be canto 'How to Save a Life' por The Fray." I nervously said. "Okay. Go ahead." she dicho quietly.
I sighed. This is it, the rest of my life depended on this moment. I opened my mouth and raised the microphone up and sang, "Step one, tu say 'we need to talk,' he walks, tu say 'sit down, it's just a talk' ".....
After I finished the song the crows erupted into applause as I began to feel sweat drip down my face. Nicole was beaming. "Lilah, tu are young, talented, and tu are amazing and I would amor to see tu again." she said. "Thank you," I smiled.
After everyone dicho their share, the judges made their decisions. Finally, they all dicho yes. I couldn't believe it! I jumped and smiled as I saw the boys begin to run on stage and hug me. "Who-who is this?" Simon smiled. I laughed and pushed the boys off of me. "These are my best friends in the whole world. They forced me to be here." I said. Nicole laughed and waved good-bye to me. I waved good-bye back until my arm was crushed por Gavin, Spencer, and David hugging me. I didn't care, I did it! And I was going to make the most of it.

A fuente told The Sun: “Matt woke to hundreds of missed calls. He thought something serious had happened.”
However Matt took it all in good jest according to the insider. “He spoke to the lads and had a laugh.” the fuente added.
