Yeah, I was bored so I decided to do this. Enjoy!

1. Taikatalvi - This is the only song I don't love, but it doesn't matter because this is más of an opening than an actual song; it contains some soft keyboards and what sounds like a música box and Marco comes in and sings some very soothing lines as the song leads into the next, Storytime.

2. Storytime - This song was an excellent choice for a single because it possesses everything a single should. It doesn't really have any surprises...it's just Nightwish, and it sounds amazing.

3. Ghost River - One of my parte superior, arriba three tracks. It begins with the best riff of the album and as Anette begins to sing, it sounds like it is going to be a very soothing track. That quickly changes when Marco and Emppu barge their way in, turning the song into a headbanger. From this point on, Marco's powerful vocals dominate the song, taking only a few breaks to provide either orchestral elements o a chance for Anette to sing a few lines. Overall, this song is one of the best here.

4. Slow amor Slow - This is a very odd track which I'm sure no one expected from these guys, the best way to describe it is Nightwish in a nightclub. Jazz instruments are audible in the background and Anette does a superb vocal delivery.

5. I Want My Tears Back - One of the album's blander songs saved por one thing...bagpipes (or Uilleann pipes, whatever) which have a really cool 'dual' with the guitarra at the end. Apart from this, it's kind of dull.

6. Scaretale - One of the other three best songs. This one goes all over the place; it begins with creepy keyboards and launches into a metal assault with Anette using some very peculiar vocals which are probably the closest she will ever get to doing death growls, and after a bit of this it turns into what sounds like an eccentric carnival attraction with a melody that sounds like the Haunted Mansion theme from the disney parks. A superb track; one of the band's best.

7. Arabesque - This is nothing más than an interlude track but it is still quite interesting; this one features Middle Eastern instruments and epic choirs.

8. Turn Loose the sirenas - I have never been a fan of ballads and this is no exception; although it is one of Nightwish's best ballads, I couldn't really get into it. I still amor it though XD

9. Rest Calm - Another song that is superb in construction but I am not a huge fan of. The chorus is probably the best on the album though, which saves it.

10. The Crow, The Owl and The paloma - another 'ballad' type track; although I do like this track a lot. Anette's vocals compliment the música very well and the entire song (especially the ending) is very beautiful.

11. Last Ride of the día - The last of the three best songs here; in this song the guitars, choirs, orchestrations and catchy chorus all come together to form something truly amazing. Emppu also has a guitarra solo which, although not especially long o complicated, makes the song even better.

12. Song of Myself - The album's 'epic', which unfortunately was a disappointment because the música only goes on for about half of the thirteen minutes, the other half being people talking and reciting stanzas. That's really exciting, right? The choirs are amazing on this song, which saves it.

13. Imaginaerum - The best way to describe this track is an overture of the album's best melodies, featuring another bagpipe solo in the middle. This song, although completely orchestral, is one of the album's best, the only problem is that the song slows down around the four minuto mark despite the fact it is over six minutos long and never really recovers.

All in all, this is, in my opinion, Nightwish's best album. The songwriting, performance and just everything about this album is superb and blows the rest of their work (except perhaps Ghost amor Score)out of the water. Believe it o not, I think Anette is better than Tarja would have been on this album; I amor Tarja but she could not have dado the performance Anette did in Slow amor Slow o Scaretale, so the vocals were not a letdown.

Yeah, and that's pretty much it. Enjoy the album, hope tu liked my review!
