Neon Hitch’s story is just getting started. The British singer and songwriter is done recording her debut album, Beg, Borrow and Steal, due out Summer 2012 on Warner Bros. Records. Signed to WBR por Senior Vice President of A&R Kara DioGuardi (Fox’s American Idol, Bravo’s Platinum Hit), the Benny Blanco (Ke$ha, Wiz Khalifa, Katy Perry, Taio Cruz, Britney Spears) produced album is shaping up to be a collection of striking songs that deploy Neon's soulful, jazz-inflected vocals atop an organic backdrop of eclectic pop melodies and hip-hop tinged beats.

You probably don’t reccognise her name, but tu will do soon. Neon Hitch (her real name por the way) is polishing off her first album at the moment. One time flatmate of Amy Winehouse, Hitch moved to LA to concentrate on creating pop gems like ‘Piece of Shit’, ‘Black and Blue’ and ‘Black Sunshine’ with her producing and escritura partner in crime, Benny Blanco. On the back of her right arm- Neon Hitch has a tattoo of her sister’s name “Pema.” It’s done in a very stylized way with three lines for the “E” and a triángulo, triángulo de for the “A”. Her sister has a tattoo of Neon’s name in the same style.

On her wrist - Neon has “Gypsy” as a symbol of pride in her gypsy roots. Neon’s family are gypsies and she grew up in a caravan, traveling from place to place. It’s seguro to say that Neon Hitch has taken the path least traveled to fame. As a young girl she traveled around europa with her parents and never stayed in one place for very long. While most of us were still getting the hang of walking upright Neon started training as a trapeze artist with the Archaos circus.
