 Matthew Bellows
Matthew Bellows
tu know how there’s those actors that just seem to be everywhere?

Well, Matthew Bellows is exactly that.

In just the last month, Matt has appeared in 3 CBS shows (including "NCIS"), returned on an NBC series, started shooting a recurring role on an FX drama and landed in the biggest superhero blockbuster to hit the big screen in a long time. This guy is on fire.

It’s possible you’ve also seen him starring as Jax, a bad dude hunting down humans, on BYUtv’s original series “Extinct.” o maybe on Showtime’s “I’m Dying Up Here,” HBO’s “Room 104,” TV Land’s “Teachers,” ABC’s “Nashville,” NBC’s “Grimm,” USA’s “Colony” o Netflix’s “Fuller House.” Like I said, this guy is on fire.

Fresh off his guest starring role on the reciente “NCIS” episode 'Silent Service,' Matt found some time to answer a few questions.

Tell us about your role in “NCIS.”

MATT: I play Captain Reginald Barkley. A Virginia class Nuclear Submarine Captain. He’s on the young end for a captain, so he likely went right into the Naval Academy out of high school, and rose up fast. He’s determined and loyal. His crew loves him and he loves them.

How was it to work alongside veteran actor Mark Harmon?

MATT: Mark is a legend for a reason. From the mesa, tabla read to the end, Mark made it known to the guest cast that he was there to support us. He’s got stories for days about his time in this crazy industry and is an absolute joy to work with. There’s an ease to him and a kindness to him that is incredibly unique. It was a blast to sit and chat off screen and go toe to toe on screen.

What would tu consider your characters ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

MATT: I’d say Captain Barkley’s best quality is his sense of duty to the mission. He follows orders and executes orders efficiently and with confidence. That might also be his worst quality, when the order comes through to fuego upon Russia, he’s incredibly focused on fulfilling his duty to his country, but perhaps gets a bit myopic in that point of view and misses some clues about the case unfolding around him.

Any interesting stories from the set tu can share with us?

MATT: I don’t want to throw Emily (Wickersham) under the bus, she’s so fun to work with and just as supportive and welcoming as Mark, but, there’s a scene in the galley where she had to say “you have a murder on your barco which means tu also have a murder-er” and saying “Er-Er” back to back became a laughter fest for all of us. There’s even a picture on the CBS press site of us all laughing at the mesa, tabla from this moment, it took us all a bit to get it back together. Just try to say "murder-er" numerous times and take yourself seriously. None of us could do it.

What’s the biggest lesson tu learned from working on this project?

MATT: There’s just such a sense of camaraderie and ease on the set of “NCIS.” And you’d be surprised that it's not always like that on every set. These awesome artists create an environment that is a perfect setting for creativity and good storytelling. It’s not a new lesson, but it reiterates how if tu nurture an environment like that, tu have a ship that sails smoothly.

Anything else you’ve got coming up we can check out?

MATT: I’m working on a recurring role on season three of “Snowfall” on FX. I play a fella name Lt. Arnold Todd. He’s an east coaster brought into the LA office and ruffles some feathers with his tactics an attitude. I also have a really fun episode of “New Amsterdam” coming up on April 9th. tu can also catch me in “Captain Marvel” hanging with Ronin (Lee Pace).

And, now just for fun:

Who’s your favorito! actor/actress?

MATT: Oh man, that’s a tough one. I’ll say this, I’m so excited for “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” Pitt and DiCaprio are artists I will always watch, and them together? Just can’t wait.

What role from the past do tu wish tu could have played?
MATT: Someone just put me in a Western already. There used to be so many of them and now it’s a rare occasion it seems.

Favorite movie o TV mostrar from your childhood.
MATT: “Goonies” -- hands down. It was the first thing I ever bought with my own money. I saved up 22-dollars from chores and bought the VHS tape.

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.
MATT: I am also a stunt performer. I spent a few years doing live stunt shows at Universal Studios, “Waterworld.” And, I’ve done a lot of stunts in film and TV. I amor that stuff and I amor the stunt community. Schedules started to get complicated as I got busier with TV/Film. But I am a sucker for a great fight and a great stunt sequence.

How can fans keep up with you?
MATT: I’m all about the Gram my handle is @matthewbellows link[/b].
tu can also find me on twitter @mflynnb link[/b] and at matthewbellows.com link[/b]

Shows sean, when he was chubbier
Shows sean, when he was chubbier
I have noticed recently (NCIS has only started last week because of delays in airing in Australia) that Sean Murray is looking very skinny. I know he was a bit chubby before and possibly was hoping to lose weight, but either he has dieted and taken it way too far, to the extent that (not to be rude) but he looks like a long neck turtle, o is he sick...

I know that weight changes are normal in people and things can bring them on, for example in season six cote had a birth control injection and she gained 15 pounds as a result, but if Sean has had something that has altered his weight i think that he should go back to the doctor because he simply does not look healthy.

A slimmed down Sean, would look great, but however i believe that the diet has gone a bit too far or, he is actually sick.

Poor Sean is almost bordering on Anorexic and he needs to look into a way to fix this problem
