For Evanescence I only like their 1st album, whereas for Within Temptation, I like all of their work from their 3rd album onward (1st & 2nd, haven't heard).

I have a love/hate relationship with Evanescence whereas I love Pre-Hydra Within Temptation. I believe WT has better vocals and overall more interesting music.
