The movie focuses on an old man lectura a story to an old woman in a nursing home. The story he reads follows two young enamorados named Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who meet one evening at a carnival. But they are separated por Allie's parents who disapprove of Noah's unwealthy family, and mover Allie away. After waiting for Noah to write her for several years, Allie meets and gets engaged to a handsome young soldier named Lon. Meanwhile, a drifter and artist named Jack Dawson and his best friend Fabrizio De Rossi win third-class tickets to the ship in a game. And she explains the whole story from departure until the death of titanic on its first and last voyage April 15th, 1912 at 2:20 in the morning,.
