That night Diane and Michael are putting the final touches on cena when the doorbell rings

"I'll get it." Michael replied as he made his way to the door. Michael then opened the door, "hello Beth come in dinners almost ready." Michael replied. Beth walked in, "Nice place tu got here." Beth replied as she began to walk around. "Thanks....hold on a sec.....girls get washed up for dinner." Michael called upstairs. "okay daddy." Lizzie and Abby called back. "Where's your wife?" Beth asked casually. "Oh she's on the cocina putting the final touch on Dinner." Michael answered. "Well arent tu going to introduce me to her?" Beth asked. "Wait here...im going to see if she's done with Dinner." Michael dicho as he walked back to the kitchen. "Hey honey are tu at a good stopping point?" Michael asked walking into the kitchen. "Yea i guess so..the yams need about 5 más minutos why?" , "Beth wants to meet you." , "Now?" Diane asked. Michael nodded. "Alright give me a minute." Diane dicho as she dried off her hands and straingtened her dress. "How do i look?", "You look fine." Michael said. Michael and Diane then walked into the living room. "Hi Beth, im Diane nice to meet you." Diane dicho extenting her hand. "Nice to meet you." Beth dicho extenting her hand. They both shook hands. "So..tell me about yourself...Michael didnt tell me much about you." Diane asked. "Well i just started college at the universidad of sacramento, and im majoring in Early Childhood education." Beth explained. "Ah so im guessing tu like working with children." Diane said. "Of course i adore children." Beth said. "Speaking of children...when can i meet the girls?" Beth asked. "Hold on...Lizzie, Abby come downstairs please!" Diane called upstairs. "Coming mommy!" Lizzie and Abby dicho in unsion. Just then they both came running downstairs. "Yes mommy?" Little Abby asked. "Lizzie...Abby this is Beth and she's going to watch tu guys while mommy and daddy are at work." Diane said. "So....we wont be seeing grandma Kat anymore?" Lizzie asked. "You'll still get to see her, but sweetie shes getting to old to watch tu two that long....she cant keep up with tu two." Diane explained. "Okay." Lizzie and Abby dicho in agreement. Just then the horno began to beep. "Honey the yams are done." Michael called from the kitchen. "Okay im coming."Diane walked into the cocina and took out the yams, michael finished setting the table. "Okay well looks like everything is done, now lets get the comida on the table." Diane dicho as she began grabbing comida and placing it onto the table. "Wow everything looks great." Beth dicho as she walked into the Dinning room. "Thank you...Beth will tu be so kind and help us with the food?" Diane asked. "Oh absoultly." Beth dicho as she began to grab comida and place it onto the table. Once the comida was on the mesa, tabla and everything was set, everyone sat down and began to eat. As everyone began to dig in, Beth began a casual conversation. "So Diane how long have tu and michael been married?", "About 9 and a half years." Diane answered. "Wow thats a long time." Beth replied. "Yep it is...but at the same time it doesnt feel that way." Diane replied. "So how old are the girls?" Beth asked. "Well Lizzie is 10 and Abby is 7." Diane answered. "If tu dont mind me asking this...how was it being a newlywed couple and finding out about having your first child?" Beth asked. Michael and Diane looked at one another. "Well....we werent married when Lizzie was born, we had only been dating on and off for seven months when i got pregnent...we had alot of ups and downs but we got through it and we got married 2 months after Lizzie was born." Diane expalined. "Wow...you guys only dated for seven months,then tu had a child and tu guys are still together now? Thats amazing." Beth dicho an amazement. Diane just kinda shrugged. "How did michael propose to you? and when did he do it?" Beth asked now mostrando alot of interest. "Well he proposed to me the día after Lizzie was born. He brought me some rosas and of course a ring and he propose to me there." Diane said. "Aw that was really sweet....i wish a guy would do that for me, but sadly i havent been very lucky, almost every guy i dated cheated on me." Beth said. "That sucks." Michael replied. Diane then smacked him on the arm. "What?What did i say?", "Shh have some más sympathy than that!" Diane dicho in a harsh whisper. "Yea it does....i sometimes wish i could find a guy like tu michael" Beth dicho giving michael the dreamy eyed look....................
