CHAPTER 5



Michael waited at the steps of the house.
Two hours past and jet nothing happened still.
Another hora added on to that and he started to get worried. “What if something happened to her?”He asked himself “What if something Skulduggery Pleasant killed her?”Michael thought a lot to himself. He started to pace, “No, of course not, she’s fine. Just running a bit late,” He dicho to himself, “But I’m going to phone her anyway. Just to make sure.” He raced into the house and grabbed the phone. He dialled the number and in the segundo ring she answered, “This is a bad time!” she yelled.
“Where are you!?” Michael asked impatiently. Then all of a sudden Michael heard a loud bang that came from the phone.
“Alex. Alex are tu okay!?” Michael yelled into the phone.
“I’m fine don’t worry about it,” she whispered
“What was that?” he asked confused, then another bang went off,
And the phone cut. He slammed the phone down and started to weep.............................................................
After a few hours the phone rang and Michael picked it up immediately.
‘Hey.’ She dicho no louder than a whisper it was course and rough.
“Alex tu don’t sound to good is everything okay?” Michael asked
“YIP, doesn’t worry I’m fine just a sore.” She assured him
“You sure, what was that noise?” He asked
“Well I suppose tu will eventually find out, I might as well tell you.” She stated
“What are tu talking about?” He asked confused
“I was shot, but don’t worry I’m fine now!” she dicho between coughs
“Alex tu were shot, how can tu be fine?” Michael questioned
“I’d amor to answer that question; it’s just Kenspeckle would like to speak to you. She stated

“Michael.......”
“Is she going fine?” Michael dicho interrupting him.
“Don’t talks just listen?” Kenspeckle commanded
“But ...............” Michael stuttered
“I dicho don’t talk.” His voice stern and firm”
“Diamond is fine after all i am the greatest medical scientist this world will ever know, well getting to the point if tu wish to see her I will send someone to fetch you.” Kenspeckle exclaimed
“Yes I would like to see Alex.” Michael whispered
“Very well, send someone to fetch you,”
Goodbye now. He dicho and hung up

He stood up and gracefully walked outside to go wait for whoever Kenspeckle sent to pick him up, after a few minutos past a 1954 Bentley came up the driveway and reared it in the parking. A tall gentleman in a pin striped suit and a fedora to match stepped out of the car, it was only after he turned to face me that I recognised him it was skulduggery pleasant......

“What did u do to her?” He accused.
“NOTHING, I have done nothing to her and wish for the conversation to end and if I don’t get what I want. I’ll become your worst nightmare understand”.
Michael nodded his head and sat down on the stairs and after a few minutos Drew appeared siguiente to Skulduggery
“Ready to go?” He asked
“Yes sp replied walking towards Michael with Drew following him
When he was a few feet away Michael

“Take his hand and hold on tight skulduggery instructed.
He did as he was told, Skulduggery placed his hand on Drew’s shoulder and in a flash they were outside on abandon movie theatre

“Where are we?” Michael Asked
“Ireland, Dublin to be exact.” Stated
“England Michael!” yelled
“Yes, come on then he dicho walking into the cinema Michael followed him they went into the cinema down then went into the cinema stairs through the screen, down the hallway and into the main room in the medical bay. As soon as he spotted Alex he ran to her.
“Are tu okay?” He asked
“Yes I’m fine, she dicho sounding much better
“You almost gave me a corazón attack” Michael whispered
“Well at least it was almost a corazón attack and not a corazón attack, she exclaimed
“True, but don’t scare me like that again.” He spoke in hush tone.
“You’re coming home. Right?” he asked

“Properly not...............we have a meeting at the sanctuary. She explained
“But tu where shoot, can’t they give tu a break?” he asked
Oh and who’s diamond?” He questioned me.
“Me, how can tu not know you’re only daughters taken name.....?
It’s sad really.” she stated.
“Never mind that...so what have tu been up to?”
“Nothing just contemplating, whether o not I should tell tu my amazing idea o not.” she said
“And!” Michael motioned for her to continue.
“Well it’s not that important anymore.” she stuttered
“Alex....Diamond corazón whatever tu want to be called, it’s important to you...............!”
“B...u.....t....”
“Just listen.” he dicho cutting her off
“Fine!”She said.
“Then it’s important to me and don’t lie I can tell it’s important!” Michael stated.
“And how exactly do tu do that?” Alex asked
“It’s a father’s instinct!” Michael boosted
“You’ve only been my father for + - 2 days and I’ll tell tu when we go home.”
“So when do tu get to come home?” Michael asked
“Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh you’ll have to ask skulduggery about that.”
“What do tu have to ask me?” Skulduggery dicho walking towards them
“When can she come home?” Michael asked
“Now”
“What about the meeting?” Alex asked
“ohh it’s cancelled I’ll take tu back now”

And the y left for never land
