After I have done with the testing of characters' screen time in this episode, I decided to write an articulo for this episode. This is one of the episodes that I think that many fans of the old anime series will remember which is the episode where Flip got trapped in a venus flytrap and is the eighteenth episode of the European version. This is also one of the episodes that was censored so much in the European version like in the first and the twelfth episodes, but this one contains some scenes that may be offensive to some people o may traumatize some people if it was left uncensored, but I will explain más of that censorship in my descripción of the episode itself. The episode starts with Maya flying around and greeted Willy por saying "Good morning!" to him and then some flies were flying around them and Maya asked them where are they going and they answered her that they were going on a picnic trip which made Maya getting interested about it and asked Willy if they will go on a picnic, but at first, Willy wasn't very sure about it, but he changed his mind when Flip showed up and told them that they will go on a picnic por a lake he have found. Before they left to go on the picnic trip, Maya and Willy put pollen on three leaves to envolver, abrigo them up like bags as lunches for their picnic trip and after they have finally arrived in the lake, Willy told Flip that it's good time to relax in there and Flip laughed at him for his laziness and then suddenly, a baby stonefly showed up and grabbed Flip's bag when he opened a hole in the lilypad they were sitting in and Flip became furious when he noticed that, but after he realized it was a baby stonefly, he calmed down a bit and he told Maya and Willy his species name and they were surprised when they met him and Maya dicho it was the first time that she saw one and Flip also pointed at the adult stoneflies that were flying around the lake which Maya didn't knew that bebés don't have wings like the adult ones she saw. The baby stonefly was so mischievous and playful that he splashed around the lake and Maya asked him if he will be invited to the picnic and he agreed, but Willy wasn't very happy about it por telling her that there is not much comida left and that he is a unknown person, but Flip himself believed that there is still enough comida for all of them when he answered him back and then, he decided to leave for a while por jumping around in backwards until he stepped on a venus flytrap and ended up getting trapped himself and cried for help. When Maya and Willy first heard his cry, they thought he played a "prank" on them until they decided to fly around to see what happened to him and noticed him inside the venus flytrap and he warned them that it is a very dangerous plant, but they didn't believed that at first until they throw a branch at it and the plant ate it at the end which it shocked them and Flip told them that it is a carnivorous plant that can eat insects like them which it freaked them out that they tried their best to save him from the venus flytrap, but they couldn't save him on their own, so Maya decided to go to find an insect who could help her to save Flip, but most of them were too afraid to help her and some of them didn't understand what was going on and the only one who decided to help Maya, but failed to help her was Max the earthworm who recognized her voice as he remembered her helping him in the eleventh episode. At the time where Maya left, Willy was watching over Flip and tried to think of something that could make himself happy and then, he asked Flip if he remembers anything from his past and he dicho he do that made Willy so pleased 'cause he was so eager to hear about his backstory. Before Flip start telling Willy his backstory, he imagined all of his memories in a foto album o cinematic style and the first one that came up was the one from his birth along with his siblings who were hatched from their eggs at the same time in the same photo, then the siguiente one was a foto of him as a young saltamontes who fell into the lake after jumping for the first time, then the siguiente one was foto of him at school where his teacher scolded him for not studying his lessons and got bad grades, but then Willy answered back to him that they were bad memories and then the last ones from his past were fotos of him as an adult meeting with a female saltamontes that he had fallen in amor with her, but she ended up cheating on him and got married with another male saltamontes instead that he got heartbroken at the end when he saw her on her wedding (which it was one of the scenes that was cut in the European version probably because they didn't like that spoiler o something) and Willy ended up laughing at him to his misfortune, but Flip was so upset at him for laughing about his bad memories and answered him back that he still thinks about her despite she cheated on him and that he still loves her. Then, both Flip and Willy were still waiting for Maya to come back, but she haven't returned yet, and Willy still begged him for más memories from his past, but Flip decided to tell him about his last memory from the present día instead before he got trapped in the venus flytrap that made him realized how he was trapped and was still worried about his fate. Maya was still looking to find any insect who could help her and one of the insects was a mariposa who also refused to help her 'cause she only cared about her beauty in her wings than helping someone that she doesn't know (which was another scene that was cut in the European version 'cause she had a dark skin like all other mariposas in the anterior episodes for the same reasons as I have stated in the artículos of those episodes) which it made her giving up as she thought that no one will help her to save Flip's life until the stonefly decided to be the one who could save Flip and Maya helped him to find the way where Flip went before he ended up getting caught por the venus flytrap. Before Maya came back with the stonefly, Flip predicted about his death as he believed that he will die soon and then fotos about his death came up (which all of them were cut probably because they thought that those scenes will traumatize many people por thinking that he will die o it was due to religious themes that were presented in all those scenes. The first one shows a priest saltamontes who was mourning over his death and was wearing a cruzar, cruz necklace, in the siguiente one shows his gravestone shapped like a cruzar, cruz which was also cut in the Arabic dub 'cause the majority of Arabs were Muslims, not Christians, so that's why it was cut and the last one have Flip praying himself in the heaven with a halo on his head which those scenes were replaced por a scene that was not seen in the Japanese version where Maya asked a stinkbug if he could help her to save Flip, but the stinkbug answered her that he is not strong enough to save her friend which I think it was a fine scene as a replacement for those deleted scenes though) which caused poor Willy to worry más about his fate and keep crying for Maya to come back and fortunately, Maya came back por telling them that the stonefly will help to save Flip from the venus flytrap. The stonefly was not careful at first that he almost fell on the venus flytrap where Maya and Willy were holding his tail to save him. Then the stonefly jumped on the venus flytrap to save Flip, but Maya and Willy were both horrified when they noticed that and thought that both Flip and the stonefly were getting eaten por the venus flytrap. Maya decided to try to save Flip on her own again, but she failed and Willy put his hearing to his antennae to know if Flip was still alive o dead, and he heard nothing that made him think he was dead, and he began to mourn over him. Maya also mourned over Flip until she and Willy stopped crying when they noticed the stonefly opening a hole inside the plant and ended up saving Flip's life at the end. Flip was actually unconscious when the carnivorous plant was about to eat him up, but when he finally woke up, he realized that he was still alive and thanked the stonefly for saving his life with some help from Maya as she was the one who called the stonefly to help her to save Flip's life. The story ends when Maya, Willy, Flip and the stonefly came back into the lake and Flip still thanked the stonefly for saving his life and that without him, he would have already fallen to his death which it made stonefly so very happy when he realized that he saved him and he also thought it was funny to him and after that, Maya, Willy and Flip left at the end of the episode. In the American English dub por Saban, the stonefly was considered as a "hero" por Maya, Willy and Flip for the heroic thing he have done that it made him very happy for being called a "hero" por his friends and the fact that this episode was titled as "The Littlest Hero" in the Saban English dub. Here are the ranking results that I have gotten for each character who have appeared in the episode:

9. Mother caracol and the caracol Children (5 seconds)
Yes, the mother caracol and her children were the ones who got the least screen time out of all characters who appeared in the episode in just only 5 segundos and they appeared in the part where Maya was trying to call someone for help, but they were too afraid that they hid in their shells instead, so yes, they didn't do anything for this episode like in the anterior episodes they appeared in.

8. Kurt and Iffi (10 seconds)
This is something that I was not expecting is that they got más screen time than the mother caracol and her children por beating them just for 10 seconds. They appeared in the scene where Flip predicted his death and were seen mourning over his death in the first foto that came up to his mind, but yes, some characters can get some screen time in the parts that were not animated and were just fotos instead, so yes, this was a surprising one that was also a bit increíble to me.

7. The Ant Soldiers (38 seconds)
Yes, the ant soldiers didn't got that much screen time either and they appeared in the part where Maya called them for help, but they didn't understand what was going on o what Maya actually dicho to them which it made them repeating the same things that Maya have dicho to them and Maya didn't expected them to behave like that, but she told them to go across the lake to find Flip but they did not understand and decided to continue on their way instead that upsets Maya at the end.

6. The Ant General (40 seconds)
Just like the other ants, he didn't got that much screen time, but he managed to beat out the soldiers por two seconds. Just like the soldiers, he didn't understand what Maya was saying to him and repeated the same things that was saying por her like the other soldiers did like they have "autism" o some different disability, but that's just how I viewed them, but maybe characters with disabilities exists in the Maya the Bee universe.

5. Max (1 minute, 23 seconds)
This one might surprise tu a bit, but yes, Max got the most screen time out of all important insect characters who Maya called for help and Max tried his best to help her, but he failed at the end as he could not dig a hole that was hard for him and he could not get down from the log when Maya tried to help him too and he told her that he can't do it before she left to look for other insects to help her to save Flip's life.

4. The Stonefly (4 minutes, 40 seconds)
As many people have probably expected, the stonefly have managed to get a lot of screen time por making it to 4 minutos and he got the most screen time in the late parts of the episode where he went to save Flip from the venus flytrap which fortunately he did it when he opened a hole and asked Maya and Willy to help him get Flip out of the plant which after that, Flip thanked the stonefly for saving his life which it made him so very happy at the end of the episode.

3. Willy (8 minutes, 24 seconds)
Once again, Willy have managed to get many screen time por making it to 8 minutos and got into the third place and earned his fourth bronze medal. Yes, he have earned so many bronze medals, but he also has two oro medallas and two silver medallas as of now, but he may get más medallas in the future if he continues to enter the parte superior, arriba 3 in the future episodes.

2. Flip (8 minutes, 34 seconds)
This one will surprise tu a bit more, but yes, once again, Flip have managed to enter the parte superior, arriba 3 and got into the segundo place since the tenth episode and earned his fourth silver medal por the amount of screen time he got for this episode. Just like Willy, he made it to 8 minutes, but he beat out him for más 10 seconds, but I hope for him to get at least one oro medal o another bronze medal as the first episode is still currently the only one he got it from, but don't worry, he will probably win in the other episodes that focused on him like the jumping contest episode which is the twenty third episode of the Japanese version and the fourteenth episode of the European version, but tu should wait until I will make the articulo for that episode.

1. Maya (10 minutes, 14 seconds)
Once again, she have managed to get the most screen time out of all characters por making it to 10 minutos and got into the first place and earned her twelfth oro medal por the amount of screen time she got en general, general for this episode, but at least, she was the one who told the stonefly to go to save Flip's life, so she did something heroic thing like the stonefly did too.

And that's all of the results that I got from this episode and I'm planning to test the screen time of characters in the seventeenth episode which is the one where Maya met Hieronimus the ciempiés for the first time and the number for this episode is also the same for the European version just like the first episode which I will explain más about that episode in the articulo that I will make soon.
