If I have just met someone I have no emotional investment and will kindly bow out if it matters to a girlfriend, when they are a friend, that has time vested, the other does not. If there was more to it we should be able to settle & talk about it maturely. Chances are the person isn't even worth loosing a friendship over to begin with. They won't last most likely & the friendship, if it is real, would. STILL it is one of the Sisterhood Creeds.
