Remember when we first met?
Remember when tu greeted me with a smile when I arrived to the new school I was so nervous about?
Remember how we were so close...we could've been brother and sister?
I, at the time, wasn't aware of my feelings for tu because I was just the age of 11, still clueless about things such as love.
I thought, at the time, I loved another who ignored me most of the time.
I'd pay más attention to that other person than you.
For that, i'm truly sorry.
I regret that.
I was just a child, curious about love, because others around me were falling in love.
We mover up a grade...still at the same school...we met some new friends...we almost forgot about each other.
We still talked and laughed together, we were still okay.
A año has passed again.
We were in different classes.
You'd still find the time to talk to me no matter the reason.
I still wasn't aware of my feelings for tu at that time.
Again, i'm sorry.
During that year...we slowly drifted apart...I became más embarrassed to talk to you...because at the end of that year...I decided.
I liked you.
The siguiente año came around.
We were in different classes for a while but then the classes changed and tu were in my class.
We never spoke.
We only spoke a few words here and there in the beginning of this new year.
As the año went by...We truly didn't speak at all.
It seemed like we avoided each other.
We treated each other like strangers.
I still liked tu around this time, but me being myself, I never knew what to say to you.
I couldn't even have a normal conversation with tu like I used to.
I couldn't even face your way, because I was afraid your eyes would meet mine and there would be an awkward moment.
A whole other año went por with me never talking to you.
A whole other año went por with never telling tu my feelings.
This was the last año I would ever be able to see your face.
Because you're moving soon.
I missed my chance.
The story of us was just a short one.
For that again, i'm sorry.
I'm really sorry.
Even more, if I had simply been honest with you, I would have caught you, i'm sure of it.
A loving heart, a gentle smile,
a warm and tender touch,
We give so many things in life
but nothing means as much.
A little inspiration
when someone loses hope,
A kind word of encouragement
when they no longer seem to cope.
A simple phrase, “I amor you”
when no one else is there,
Taking hold onto a hand
in a little heartfelt prayer.
amor is never silent,
it has so much to say,
And it is our greatest blessing
when we give it all away.
