Lisa Marie Presley has been staying out of the public eye as of late, but has decided to come out in the open about a topic close to he heart, which is Scientology.

She took to her Myspace Celebrity blog to unleash her feelings about how the world vistas the religion, which she is a believer in.

She also took time to acknowledge John Travolta and his family, with whom Lisa dicho she is very close with, and sympathized with them at this difficult time. Here’s part of her blog entry.

On John and Kelly losing their son Jett:
“My corazón is crying and bleeding for them. I personally would not have it in me to bury my own child. I am escritura this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and o attack Scientology?”

On the way Scientology is viewed:
“Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist’s in the reciente past , Now is NOT the time. I realize that there is a lot of mis information out there about the subject which has caused a lot of stone throwing but we are not still in the dark ages and it is still an Unconstitutional Injustice to partake in and encourage such condemnation.”

Lisa did end things on a good note, though, and briefly mentioned her own children, twins Harper and Finley, who were born in October.

She says, “PS, I am so sorry it has been such a long time since I have written. I have just been soaking up the amor and the happiness that these two little bebés have brought us. más on that soon…….:) Thank tu so much for all of your well wishes. I amor and miss tu very much. I’ll be in touch.”

We agree with Lisa Marie that this is definitely not the time to be bashing Scientology o bringing the Travoltas into it. They have enough to deal with right now.
