What's your opinion on Rick Mercer's rant?

I agree. Schools should be doing más to fight homophobia. I think the lack of role modelos in my life is what has kept me uncomfortable about my sexuality. Being constantly told that I'm evil doesn't help, either. Straight kids get so much support from society, so why shouldn't the gay kids?
