Minzy to officially leave 2NE1 + YGE announces 2NE1 comeback

YG Entertainment has announced Minzy\'s official leave from 2NE1.

Blackjack, the rumors are true. YGE made an official announcement that Minzy is leaving the group on April 5, stating, "We are sorry to inform the many 2NE1 fans who\'ve waited so long. We are making an official announcement that 2NE1\'s maknae Minzy will no longer be a part of 2NE1."

The agency detailed, "With the end of 2NE1\'s contract with YG coming up on May 5, 2016, we met with the 2NE1 members this past January to discuss their intentions about re-signing. However, Minzy expressed her intentions that were different from the group."

YG Entertainment also let fans know that they can expect a 2NE1 comeback this summer with the remaining members

CL, Park Bom, and Dara. The label stated, "The remaining three members have re-signed, and they\'re preparing for a new song release for this summer as 2NE1. We are not looking for an additional member to replace Minzy."

Blackjacks\' heads must be spinning. How are you taking the news?

The women in YG are dwindling one by one.  It is truly a frat house. Minzy is probably also annoyed that she is surrounded by hotties and couldn\'t date any of them because they are "family." Don\'t mind me, I am just word vomiting because I am in shock.

April Fool is over YGE... what a shocker and heartbreaking! I guess YG didn\'t give her what she deserve in the new contract terms.

what?! she\'s a vital part of the team.. the singing, dancing and the rapping.. awwwww... that\'s sad. =( well, who knows, she could be a better solo artist.

we are better care for ourselves first. This news change all plan for this year.

but I\'m think it\'s good for Minzy, she happy with her own way now

I know. It\'s still disappointing but I can understand. Minzy hasn\'t been promoted well and I am sure she\'s had enough. It also looked like she was ready to leave for a while.

She was my favorite in the group, it\'s sad to see her leave knowing YG never showed just how much she can do, her dance moves are gold, her voice is amazing, she is beautiful and funny.. Yet I don\'t think we have seen enough of Minzy while she was in 2ne1. I still look forward to their comeback, because remaining members are still hella talented!

She hasn\'t had work since Crush. She even had to open a dance studio outside of the jurisdictions of YG. It\'s better for her to leave because YG really doesn\'t take care of his artist that well.

My favorite groups... Both, incomplete.I still can\'t believe Jessica isn\'t part of Girls\' Generation and now I have to digest this. The best dancer and a strong voice, out of the group.I\'ll just go to under my bed and cry for the rest of the day.

What, this is not the kind of news you want to read before going to bed. I\'m sad. Minzy has also been my favourite member and it won\'t be the same without her but I wish her the best of luck on her new path.
