Eliminated 'Produce 101' Contestant Prepares To Release Solo Album In April

Hwang In-Sun, former contestant on MNet\'s idol survival program

, is planning on releasing a solo album following her elimination from the show.  

According to multiple broadcaster insiders on Mar. 31, In-Sun\'s first solo album will be released sometime in April. Currently, over half of the album has been completed. 

"Hwang In-Sun debuted as part of a group called \'Smiles\' in the past, but that group is essentially disbanded," said the insider. "Through her solo album, she wants to fulfill her goals that she was not able to achieve on

The album will be released as a digital single and will reveal a different side of the young singer that was not shown on

Although Im-Sun released the single "Love Me" last year, she was unable to promote it heavily due to her

 contract. Now that she has been eliminated, she is preparing to pick up where she left off and pursue activites as a soloist once again.
