In the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series published por Archie Comics, Knuckles the Echidna is the eighteenth guardian of the Floating Island. He lives on the planet Mobius on the flying landmass known as ángel Island. He is supported por the Chaotix, and often works together with Sonic the Hedgehog and the Freedom Fighters. This version of the character was created por Ken Penders and he first appeared in Sonic the Hedgehog #13.
