I was watching the last episode of season 1 with the conversation that Stacy and House had in his office:
“You are brilliant, funny, surprising, sexy… but with tu I was lonely..”
I saw House’s reaction to Stacy telling him this, as if he didn’t know that she was lonely. Then it got me thinking about how this can be used in the context of Huddy now in season 5; House doesn’t want to make the same mistake with Cuddy, pushing her aside and not taking into consideration her feelings.
House obviously fell pretty hard for Stacy, and maybe he has the exact same feeling for Cuddy. However, the revelation 5 years hace about Stacy feeling alone even though she was head over heels in amor with him, that was probably a pinnacle point for House in how he would approach future relationships in the future (or lack of)
My thoughts regarding the kiss, and then this thought I had today, made me think that House kissed Cuddy back in episode 6 not to make her feel better o to apologize, but because Cuddy was alone emotionally and now physically, and she had officially hit rock bottom. House maybe thought they had nothing to lose since Cuddy was feeling alone in the world, which brought about the kiss. I do think that he did it to install some hope in her as well as making her happy, but I also think that House thought this would be the only appropriate time to advance on their relationship from boss/employee.
Now, House is hesitant to make another mover in fear of Cuddy and Rachel’s growing relationship being destroyed por him, if he did make another move, because he likes seeing Cuddy happy. Because House knows that Cuddy would probably jump ship to be with him, leaving Rachel behind, hoping she would have that chance of a future with him. However House knows, from Stacy, that his obsessions and his personality can leave the person he is with to feel alone.
House is trying to protect Cuddy, even if it means shooting her down in his own House-ian way, because he doesn’t want Cuddy to hate him in the future.
Sorry if it doesn’t sound coherent but I have a really bad headache :)

When does amor become something we need, rather than something we want? amor was seen as something special a long time ago. Now amor is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. amor is common currency when tu are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older tu get. Do we not care about the substance of what amor was and not what it has been made into today por commercialisation from American cine and televisión commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience amor for real, can we comentario and judge others who are in Love. amor means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of amor is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? amor is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
