Mom and House eventually had to go back to work, so I headed back into Michael's room.

He looked so weak and frail in that big bed. He was like half the cama size, maybe even less.

I walked closer to the cama until the railing was touching me, and I reached over and ran my fingers through his hair. I sat down in the plastic chair por his cama and held his good hand. I layed my head on a spot on the cama and put my other hand on his stomach.

My eyes slowly closed and I fell into a light sleep, a drop of a pin could wake me up then.

After about 30 minutes, I heard footsteps. It wasn't mom's highheel clacks o House's step-step-thump walk, but different. I ignored it.

But, I opened my eyes when I heard a cough right behind me.

I looked up and saw an older version of Michael. I guessed it was his older brother Jake, and mom wasn't kidding when she dicho they looked alike.

Jake had the same blue messy short hair, their style was the same; T-shirt on the inside, and a wrinkled dress camisa, camiseta on the outside, o a striped sweater that doesn't protect tu from the cold and is thin. Faded jeans, sneakers, but instead of a clean face, he had a moustache, not like House's but a bit thinner and it followed his jaw line and went around his mouth.

But what really stuck out was his vivid blue eyes, they were the same as Michaels.

He looked at me too, And I think he was analyzing me the same way I was analyzing him.

" Hey, I'm Jake." He said.

" Hi, I'm Rachel." I replied back, and I had a feeling that we were gonna get along fine.
