Well, I have my main reasons why I chose Erik. The thing is; many people have overlooked him and not really think deep. Yeah, I know some of you think he's an ass. I got some thinking and I'd probably act the same if I was him.

1. When he was dating Zoey the first time, Zoey had just broke off Heath. I mean it didn't help either when she was imprinted to him. Obviously, he was gonna get jealous.

2. He caught Zoey doing "it" with Loren Blake, a temporary professor of the House Of Night. I mean, wouldn't you get super angry and pissed that your girlfriend has been "cheating" on you behind your back? So, she broke his heart. He started calling a slut because he was really angry with her at that time.

3. When they got back together the second time, Stark just died in her arms. So, she, being Zoey kept thinking about him..

Okay, I'm not even at the sixth book "Tempted" but I can understand why Erik turned out the way he is now, possesive and all jealous. He had his heart broken too many times and that whenever he's dating Zoey, there'll always be another guy. If you guys were him, you'll probably be jealous too. So seriously, it isn't his fault.

However, saying that it wasn't his fault entirely is an overstatement. Yeah, he could have trusted Zoey more and not be super possesive.

Look, I don't hate Stark. He's a great guy. I prefer Erik, that's all. I mean, Zoey and Erik would probably not end up with each other. Erik loves Zoey too much, he's blind to see that he's hurting Zoey indirectly. I just wish they could at least be good friends. That'll be cool. All in all, he's a good guy, his heart just got broken too many times. I agree that he was being a jerk though going out with Venus right after he broke up with Zoey. Whatever it is, I haven't read the whole thing yet, so I can't judge that much.

Just giving out my opinion. Hope I have at least erased some of the hatred some of guys have for him.

Whoever Zoey ends up with, I wish that's the best for her.

Your reasons make sense but theyre stupid!! Erik is an total ass! Yeah i understand the jealousy but what he said was totally out of line! Stark is so much more understanding. Plus you don't see Erik faceing death to go into the other world to save Zoey!!

I can understand Erik being jelous because Zoey always has at least one other guy. But still, some of the things he said were just downright mean. Even Aphrodite thought he was being mean and a Jerk. And that's saying something. He had no right to say those things to her or to be that possesive. That's the main reason Zoey dumped him. And she did give him a fair warning by telling him that she doesn't like possessiveness. Stark is way more understanding and would literally do anything for her. He doesn't really mind if Zoey is with other guys as long as she's healthy, safe, and happy. I'm not saying I hate Erik. I don't. And I think it's great that he and Zoey finally decide to be just friends in Awakened. That's probably best. Besides, Zoey and Stark belong together! And if she doesn't take him, I WILL!!! He is my idea of a perfect boyfriend. ^-^

Stark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love Stark, he's like the perfect bf!!!!!!!!! Erik was a good boyfriend at first but then after Zoey started loving Stark too he turned into an ass. He was just jealous when Heath was around, and that's understandable but with Stark he blew his chances at being with Zoey. :) TEAM STARK!!!!!!!!
